I made a salade niçoise and a honey and mustard dressing.

I drank four glasses of water.

I took my vitamins and antidepressants.

I'm going to have a shower now.

I will take some Blackmores Tranquil Night before I go to bed.

Re: Please help - my depression is really bad

Dear @Arizona ,

i know I am a night late, but you are among company and people who get it.  Depression has been my companion since my early 20’s and I am now 70.  Anxiety started about 5 years ago . I am not sure which is worse, I think anxiety as I have never been a worrier or anxious u til so recently and it is truly despairing.

i have days when I can’t get out of bed, or put till after 2pm.  The mornings are terrible, the afternoons and evenings more manageable, the nights well, a mix between a blank and terror of waking.

No matter how well some people are doing here and moving forward, we are all here for the same reasons and need each other and what each individual contributes.

Stay safe and here

Re: Please help - my depression is really bad

Hi @Peri

Thank you very much for your post. You aren't late - I'm still awake 😊

I'm 50 and I have had depression since I was at least 14. The anxiety started when I was 29.

I'm usually better at night but today has been such a difficult day that I'm not better.

I have depression and anxiety at the same time now, which I never had before and it is just horrible. I could handle it much better when it was one or the other.

I'm sorry that you have had depression for such a long time but it's nice to hear from someone who understands 😊

I'm in bed having a cup of tea and I'm going to watch Midsomer Murders on my tablet. I hope you're having a relaxing evening and you are taking good care of yourself. Thank you very much for your post.

Hey @Arizona  sorry to hear this, lovely.  I know all about depression. I use morphic sound frequencies for all kinds of things.  If you want to get out of depression fast read the testimonials on this page to do with depression/anxiety audio:

Heart

So good others came along to join you.  I am pretty fond of Frida K. Amazing woman.  I also really liked Angelina's touch of performing barefeet in solidarity with those in poverty.  It is interesting how we all respond to different positives.  What one person likes is not always the same another ... but I believe strongly intention does matter. Am watching a Russell Brand vid atm.  Hope the weekend goes alright.  I am just having a home day.

Making Pumpkin Soup tomorrow.

Yes making those little plans has become a life saving structural part of ,my thinking.

There is also the concept of liminal space that has helped me.  I am often on the edge ... liminal feels better than a whirling terrifying void.
