Re: Battles

Ok I understand @Dreamy

I hope you are able to get a good sleep.

Fortunately training is early because it’s supposed to be an even hotter day tomorrow here.

Re: Battles

@Till23 guess we will see.

Tomorrow it's supposed to be cooler here, I really hope so cos I'm so over the heat. At least getting it out of the way early you will hopefully avoid the hottest part of the day. Try to stay as cool as you can 😊

Remember to take water with you @Till23 and stay hydrated xx

Re: Battles

@Dreamy  I consider myself the Loser in my family and extended family.

Everyone else has done so well for themselves.

I got into a 13 year covert coercive control relationship and it ruined my life.

I didn’t even know that it was abuse until 6 months after he abandoned me on the opposite side of the country.

Starting from scratch, with nothing but a 10 year old car, 3 boxes and 2 suitcases at my age is not meant to happen. Everyone else is planning retirement and I’m trying to find lifestyle job opportunities, that will give me a decent income, give me a sense of purpose and be fore filling, is no easy task.

Being hounded by the feeling that it is all a massive effort and what if it takes me nowhere?

But I really don’t have any alternative.

It is, what it is.

Re: Battles

@Glisten it's hard when you feel like that. I don't really have family to compare to but i certainly haven't done well for myself.

I've been through so many abusive relationships whether that be physical, verbal, emotional or coercive control. I've gone through it all and it's been hell. I'm so sorry for what you have been through, it's just not fair. Having to start from scratch is so hard, completely having to rebuild your life or rather make a new life for yourself.

But you are amazing and you have the strength to get through anything life throws your way. You have so many amazing skills and you will find somewhere that appreciates that and where you can flourish, it just takes time.

You know we are always here for you and will walk this journey with you ❤️

Hehe, yes @Shaz51 I do like seals!! There was a seal in the river near my place which is where my username comes from. RiverSeal

Re: Battles

@RiverSeal , how lovely to see a seal all the time. 😍

Re: Battles

Hey @Dreamy

If you like those motivational sayings and memes to bring a bit of hope, I would give you one that says something along the lines of sometimes things need to come crashing down before we can rebuild them.
