I still think it's worthwhile having a chat to your local mental health team. They will be familiar with you and will know the best way to help you.

That's not true at all @Bubbles3. That's your intrusive thoughts speaking I think. I care for one and I am sure many others do too., your family for one!

Do you think it is worthwhile going to the hospital to be assessed how best they can help you? It sounds like you are very distressed and I am concerned for you.
