Something’s not right

Re: Feeling Lost

Yes @outlander

Complex regional pain disorder - of course - I know that's difficult condition to treat and can only be managed. I might be repeating myself because I wrote a long message last night - lying in bed with my laptop on my tummy and somehow deleted the whole message - darn it.

I read that your Pop's daughter moved in uninvited - now that's a real spanner in the works unless she's there to help with your Pop - uh ha - I guess not as you didn't call her your aunt. I won't write what I really think about that except you have enough on your plate.

I read right through this thread last night - yeah - I really understand. You have an idea about making the future better for yourself and you are actually achieving. Education does improve lives - it was my saving when I went through my dark years. Actually every - just about - told me that going to university was too much - actually it was my troubled son and sad marriage - my studies were the easy part though I had to defer sometimes.

It seems to me that people are too much of you and you are a good hearted - a kindhearted person- you are still caring for at least one of your sisters as well. That's a lot - and you would like to get a place on your own. That's a brilliant aim. I hope you can achieve that - it would make some much difference - I have lived alone for about 34 years now and I get along with my own company - we never disagree or argue - we like the same food and TV programmes.

Other people - yeah - perhaps if we could swap lives with the people who seem to have it easier - they might learn how bitter some pills are - and chronic pain is definitely unpleasant. My pain specialist told me there would be very few people lining up to have what I have - that's my irreparable shoulder injury - and I cope with it much better than most people. It agrees it's not easy and I know your life is not easy and for the years I have known you - you have battled. And you are a battler - not that my saying this makes it any easier for you. Maybe knowing there is one person who does might. And I do.

I remember you were hurt by a horse a long time ago - someone else's horse you were wrangling. I forget what happened. And you had trouble with your teeth as well.

That's a bunch of really tough issues. I really care Outlander. You never did anything to deserve all of this - this is what you have and it's really tough.

Sending my best thoughts

Owlunar

Re: Feeling Lost

@Snowie its been a really bad few days. my self harming was way out of control so i am checking in with the gp twice a week for now and seeing the counsellor again once a week till i get it all back under control. i was sh free for over a year

Re: Feeling Lost

its really hard to have a direction when there so much happening all the time @Owlunar i have education and always want to keep improving but its hard when chronic pain in in the way and well life i guess.

Re: Feeling Lost

Ohh @outlander I'm so sorry to hear about your SH. It is frustrating when we go for a long time without doing it and then it seems to come back so full on.

I am glad you are checking in with your gp more often and seeing the counsellor too. You need that support hon and deserve it too.

I hope today goes ok for you hon 💕💕

Re: Feeling Lost

the problem is that i dont find their support that helpful @Snowie its just the same old thing and usually results in them saying we dont know how to help you and then it just leads to that vicious cycle. its like because i know what i should be doing that is the answer to everything. if im not doing it to the T then its my issue

Re: Feeling Lost

That must make it hard for you then @outlander

It is hard to find supportive people that can lead us in the right direction.

please know that we are here for you hun

Re: Feeling Lost

thank you @Snowie things are really bad here atm. im not myself at all

how are you going

Re: Feeling Lost

I'm sorry hon @outlander Is there anything I can do to help?

I am ok. Just had a call from the hospital about my admission tomorrow. Not looking forward to it but I have to do it or my pdoc will make it involuntarily.

Re: Feeling Lost

Best to stay voluntary where you can @Snowie sometimes i feel like i should go back and spend a couple of days getting myself some help but i also know thats not really posisble either. theres so many things i would rather be doing but i feel so stuck in this lifetime.
