Daily Achievements!

Re: Daily Achievements!

well unless going to caravan park, looking like first step will be very small one , back to local caravan park .. @Dimity  lol yeah they didnt have to give me 6 weeks if selling from my reading of it, but was mostly wasted  ..so still trying to juggle doing course started last year and being somewhere where still can get work from

Re: Daily Achievements!

It doesn't sound easy @TAB . If caravan park for a while  can you put your stuff in storage?

Re: Daily Achievements!

yeah, I think there are storage places here @Dimity  some stuff that I bought from last tenant just too big for me full stop think fridge freezer and lounge have to go, prob drier as well.  think would like to get rid of everything, nothing really owes me much, washing machine is near new, but by luck was paid for through unlikely recall on older machine that got as part of package deal when moved in here. big stuff no good for moving on my own. think owner has furniture here as well, may just leave things here worst comes to worst and just say it was here when I got here, well, which it was .. ha ha ..

Re: Daily Achievements!

You're the best judge @TAB but there's downsizing but then there's obliteration... don't make it too hard for yourself to start again in a new place when you get the chance. And noone can move everything themselves unless they live out of a backpack or similar. You deserve to have a footprint somewhere, a place for you that's your space. It's good you still want to finish your TAFE course and work locally. I ended up with massive commutes that contributed to my early retirement.

Well I think I'll hit the hay, it's getting late.

Good night @TAB and take care.

Re: Daily Achievements!

yes, have done the 'obliteration' thing before @Dimity  .. yeah cant do course here, cant even do it where told myself I was going,  might do something short term, understand what you mean re having to start again with 'things' but some I just bought out of convenience, ie because were already in house ..so they arent really suitable for me, more like a family re size as in fridge and lounge, esp if start having to move more often, I will be getting some money within 12 months that I may be able to buy some sort of accomadation with, so maybe 1-2 places in the meantime, depends how much storage costs, usually not cheap if in demand

thanks for chatting. You make some good points. Okay Goodnight

Re: Daily Achievements!

@Judi9877 wow you have done heaps! Great job 👏. I am settling in okay. We babysat our great grand girls 3 and 5. They were so excited about the sleepover . Crazy times loved having them but definitely getting to old for babysitting you start to wonder how you coped caring for your own kids 🤪. I started back yoga today, it was so good to release some of the tension out of my body 😍

Re: Daily Achievements!

@TAB Sorry to hear about your car. I hope it is sorted soon ❤️

Re: Daily Achievements!

oh just happened to be here @Jessie21 ha ha yeah car okay touch wood, just not the right time for it to happen, well if there ever was one lol

Re: Daily Achievements!

Lots has been happening since my last update.

Been progressively working through a major issue causing my anxiety to escalate. Used two things to help.

One was by applying a probability/cost/coping/result matrix with a professional support to guide my next steps. Found that holding in “coping” mode has huge benefits (rather than exploding and actioning in pursuit of results not thought well through).

This approach has also helped me live by my values, which are very important and are alive and well inside of me. Before this kicked back in I was feeling terribly lost. https://livingwell.org.au/well-being/mental-health/living-by-your-values/

The result is that other people have chosen to step in and take a lead in solving part of my issue for me. And I’m suddenly feeling at peace for the first time in many months.

Re: Daily Achievements!

Good morning @Delicatessen @TAB @Jessie21 @Dimity @hanami @Meowmy @Shaz51 @RedHorse @Daisydreamer @tyme @Former-Member @Paperdaisy and all forumites visiting here. Well done on all of your fabulous achievements everyone. I’m so proud of you!

The past week has seen me off sick with a head cold/sinus issue which is why I’ve been quiet on the forums lately, so I’m sorry if I’ve missed anything important. I did manage to achieve a few things which have been:

- Completed my election job on Saturday as a declaration officer and also assisted as an inquiry officer as well

- Picked up my cat from my sisters house and brought her home

- Took meds

- Had a shower

- Spent lots of time in bed resting trying to get rid of my head cold/sinus infection issue

- Worked on a knitted adult blanket for charity (I started a new one since I decided to use one I knitted for myself as I needed an extra blanket and I didn’t have one spare at all as Melbourne got really cold on Sunday night)

- Purchased more wool since 2 balls got damaged by hot chocolate

- Filled the car with some petrol

- Drove my housemate to the train station and picked her up

- Did some food shopping

- Ordered a heat pack online since I needed a new one

- Ate dinner

- Cuddled my cat

- Investigated some volunteer work opportunities

That’s all from me forumites!

Judi9877☺️💐
