Daily Achievements!

Re: Daily Achievements!

@MDT @Judi9877 @TAB @Scream58 @Shaz51 hello everyone, hope the weekend was good for you all. I went gym today. Take care all

Re: Daily Achievements!

Good work re gym @Meowmy 🙂

Re: Daily Achievements!

I did some baking today - two loaves of banana bread and some chocolate coconut slice. I was in heaven. Cooking is so relaxing and good for my soul.

Decided to do some elevation training today. Went up a cliff face (over one hundred steps) and down again over and over. My legs were jelly in the end. It was nice to try something different.

I then went on a longish bush walk. I celebrated…

- having rain on my face

- scarping through little known side tracks (and not getting lost)

- the sound of “hoop” birds

- the crunch of the earth beneath my boots

- the peace of walking alone

- being able to “zoom” up the hills (my training is paying off!)

Finally, I looked forward to checking out what’s happening on the sane forums. It’s taking me longer than I expected to settle in to be honest. There have definitely been some great moments so far and the support has been terrific. But still feel very tentative on when to post, how to post (very gun-shy of starting a new discussion), what to post and when not to post (and just observe).

Re: Daily Achievements!

@Jessie21 welcome to the forums! Great work on moving into your new apartment complex. I wish you happiness and all the best with your new start!

@Delicatessen thanks for taking part in the forums despite being unsure of yourself. That’s very brave of you and takes courage so I’m very proud of you for taking this risk and posting. As for participating in the forums, post as much or as little as you like to whatever discussion thread you feel like joining in on. Feel free to start your own new discussion thread as well if there’s something you want to talk about or want help or advice with from other forum members in the community. Just tag the relevant members using the @function and you’ll be fine. It’s scary being new but I’m sure you’ll settle in quite well after a while.
@Meowmy well done in goi go to the gym!

As for my achievements over the past week, I’ve decided to list some of them which are;

- went on holiday to Bairnsdale for 5 days to mixed results as I had trouble calming down and relaxing

- Knitted a beanie

- Went on a 3 hour boat cruise in Lakes Entrance and was able to sit and enjoy the cruise without knitting or having a panic attack

- Spoke to my GP about getting some more anxiety tablets arranged

- Did my election training for the declaration Officer position I’ve been allocated which I’m slightly anxious about doing since I haven’t done the job before

- Got my deposit back from the rental car I hired for the Bairnsdale holiday

- Paid a deposit for another holiday in September to Echuca with my housemate

- Spoke via text to an old family friend

- Spoke to my sister on the phone

- Paid the council pet registration for my cat Mitz and received the council tag in the mail

- Took meds

- Had a regular shower

- Checked my emails and Facebook

That’s all from me right now!

Judi9877☺️💐🌻

Re: Daily Achievements!

That's an impressive list of achievements @Judi9877 ! Yay for you. I always find being away from home stressful and anxiety inducing. Recntly I had to be away for two nights but was lucky enough to be able to have my 18-year-old daughter stay with me. I had to drive in a busy city to get to the hotel and was soooo nervouss. I did it though and felt so good when I returned home that I got through it in one piece.

I meant to post in the daily achievements at the time but completely forgot to ❤️

Re: Daily Achievements!

since then, have scanned docs to claim for accom while car getting fixed

washed car.

been food shopping

said hello to boss from work barely been to this year and kept moving as a touch towards awkward

got roast on

got ratsak for poor lonely mouse here with me in lounge room lol

oh got to put washing on lol

seemed like had done more

..well, saved the day anyways ..lol

Re: Daily Achievements!

You did well today @TAB.

Re: Daily Achievements!

thanks @Dimity  I did heaps while away, this is icing on the cake lol  i got myself to funeral interstate with new suit, was social before and  after funeral got car fixed, saw friends got towbar fitted for very good price if need it for move, had to get car fixed again on way home ugh.

anyway for today throw in puttin bin out, 2nd load of washing plus about to make my bed lol

feel like a stranger in this place now am home as have 3 weeks left to move out to somewhere lol, used up 3 weeks of notice period interstate, that was pretty lame of landlord, I did say cant you start it once I get back  they can go to .. anywayss lol

Re: Daily Achievements!

Sounds as though you coped well with all the funeral thing @TAB . Bummer about needing the car fixed. 3 weeks isn't long to find a new place especially if you have to look out of town, it was pretty mean of the landlord.

I've been low but did some weeding yesterday til I got dizzy. Today was a lazy day after watching the election count last night.
