i get you want to understand. I guess we are just all different?

 

i don’t read your above post as being defensive. Sorry if you feel this way.

Please don’t think im saying you have adhd. I was only asking because i have adhd. What i find interesting though is that all the points you raised is exactly why I have ADHD:

- I align to schedules - my schedule is to the minute because if I don’t have a schedule, I feel lost

- I like lists and spreadsheets - if you see my desk and my phone, I have lists everywhere and I tabulate most things in tables and spread sheets

- I over plan - I plan things so much and get the smallest of details that others don’t see

- I am brilliant at research - I can think outside the box and think critically in research.

 

My psychologist aligned my traits with examples from now and when I was a kid with the DSM, and yes, I’ve been assessed for inattentive ADHD which means I can hyper focus on things I am interested in and do really well in life. But also, I struggle to filter out white noise and can really struggle in life.

 

 Sorry for any confusion.

 

As mentioned, BPD can come in all sizes, shapes and forms. It’s ok to have it and it’s okay not to have it.

 

 Maybe a psych can go through the criteria again with you if you are concerned?
