Reading by the title of the article itself, it’s completely 100% understandable as to why some aussies are already leaving this country and I don’t blame them for that. like I can’t stress this enough…
Everything here is already getting so expensive. Like how..???
Yet there’s other countries out there where everything there is a lot cheaper compared to here..

@Blackcloud how very true. It's ridiculous how expensive things are and the housing crisis is something else altogether. It just always seems like there's an excuse as to why they put prices up but then they never drop back down. I hate living fortnight to fortnight and barely getting by.

Yes, but consider the benefits and support you are getting? Do you think a DSP exists in other countries? @Blackcloud
By all means, if you want to go, and see what it’s like. I guess each country has parts to give and parts to take @Blackcloud

@Former-Member yeah same here, it’s already getting ridiculous on how we have to continue living off like this 😒
@tyme yes I’m aware of the DSP not existing in other countries lol

@Former-Member @tyme Wait guys I just realised that I haven’t attached the link to the original post of the article that I’ve found yet 🤣

@Blackcloud dsp is hardly enough to even live on. By the time you pay rent/housing there's not enough left for bills and food. It's either one or the other you can't have both.

@Former-Member yeah that’s very true too. Which is why my mum encouraged me to apply for a community housing since that’s where both my parents and my sister live at right now and thank god the rent prices for that are currently affordable than the prices for…student accomodations especially for private/individual rooms.

@Blackcloud that was an interesting read and really puts things into perspective. I've been on urgent wait lists for housing for 15+ years and I'm still waiting. In the meantime I'm struggling to get by and keep on top of things. I'm lucky that my house is still cheaper than others in my area even despite a huge rent increase in the last year. But if it goes up again I know I'll be homeless.

Thanks for the link. Thank god social housing exists in this country! @Blackcloud . Out of curiosity, which country do you think is better to live in?
