@tyme FYI actually we’ve been living in social housing throughout my whole life before I moved into the student accomodations as both of my parents are on Centrelink payments too. My dad’s on DSP but idk if he gets any money from Centrelink because I remember in the past he would once say “I don’t have money” and idk if he was being serious when he said that..

Yes @Blackcloud , I think you’ve mentioned that about your parents. It’s really good to see you have up and go in you and you want a job etc. @Blackcloud . Maybe things will be different for you? Who knows? Your YouTube work sounds interesting.

@Blackcloud the time for my lease renewal is coming up very soon so I'm extremely worried about it happening. But it's out of my control, all I can do is hope it doesn't go up again.

I’m currently waiting to join the waitlist for next semester for a different student accomodation to live at because after my contract lease is up for renewal this July (or I choose not to renew it), I was told that the rent prices will increase by up to $20 or $30 more than what the rent prices are now. So hopefully the other ones I’ll find are not anywhere near as $500 a week or more than that

@Blackcloud it's just ridiculous, my rent jumped $50 a week. I wish you all the best with finding something suitable for you and hopefully as cheap as possible.

@Blackcloud honestly I'm feeling pretty numb but I'm emotionally exhausted. Right now I'm ready to just walk out of here cos it's not really changing anything by me being in here.
