Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Oh no @Adge

Home alone and the lights are off.
Tradespeople are really taking advantage of people as their work loads increase. Only a few seem to have any manners these days.
Can they blame corona and delta for that also??

I thought that you might like the pink ears. Stunning aren't they. I remembered you mentioned purple pants previously.

Not much comfort but you can still sing in the dark. Hopefully someone comes soon. No heating either?

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Hello Everyone

@Anastasia , @Sophia1 , @Adge , @Emelia8 , @Appleblossom , @Exoplanet , @Meggle , @Flax , @Shaz51 , @Lilaca

The power is off here in the Mid-West of W.A. Have got the generator running again. It is a general power outage, that is expected to be clear by 7.00 pm.

Sooty, with the piercing green eyes, looks very calm and complacent. However, if an opportunity arises, like a dangled ball of wool, or the promise of a tantalising adventure, I can imagine the sprightliness with which the springs would release.

The bug, HenryX Rush, looks as though he might have a sense of humour and probably, be a bit mischievous as well.

Not sure that I would want to meet up with Aloysius when he is grumpy and the lights are out. Being a bug, I hope that Aloysius is definitely confirmed as a “fruit bat” (flying fox). Otherwise, the threat of indigestion, may not be sufficient to keep him from, what may otherwise be, a tasty morsel.

Those costumes are quirky and humorous. It is interesting to see the perception of character in each of the screen shots (photos). I wonder how different from, or similar to, the characters might be from the irl actors.

I've only been able to sample sandwiches from one of the platters. The others apparently haven't yet passed Piglet's quality control inspection. I can say, if the rest are as nice as these, HenryX Rush is going to be a very satisfied character. The sandwiches are delightful.

Love that little pink eared bat, attempting to look, ever so coy.

Cheers

and

Best Wishes to All

@HenryX Rush

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

They're blaming Last night's Storm @Sophia1 @Shaz51 Which apparently caused widespread damage, flooding - & gave the Electricians too much work.

Thankfully I have my Lights back on - No thanks to the electricians, who never turned up (now 5.40pm).

Once the Circuit Breaker dried out (pressumably), I was able to turn it back on.

I still needed it checked though - As it may be faulty, & might need to be replaced.

The weird thing is that this is the Only time that Power was not Cut to the entire house (only the Lights Circuit) - So I still had use of all my Power points, & yes could run heaters.

It felt so silly, still having power - yet having to fumble around in the dark (last night) with no lights.

Having a shower this morning, in the pitch black was rather difficult....

Yes well, now that you mention it - I'm wearing my Purple pants right now....

I also have several pairs of Orange pants, & one slightly Pink pair.

My ex friend (very evangelical & Religious) told me that she believed that any man who wears Pink is Gay - So she & others demanded that I not wear any Pink.

That's a Load of Bunkum, in my opinion.

When I was the Only Gardener on the Private Golf Course - All these men who were Grandfathers (ex Lawyers & Doctors) were wearing bright Pink shirts....

A colour or Clothes type does not determine our Gender or our Sexuality.

I am dumbfounded that So Many people are still convinced of these belittling (Labelling) Opinions....

Ignore all judgemental folk @Adge

Remember the purple people eater

golfers are renowned for wearing brightestest colours, patterns, checks.

Colours have nothing to do with a person's gender and it is noone's business anyway.

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

@Adge

Check your insurance if covered by storm. Was it electrical storm.you will have to get a written quote from an electrician drat stating details of damage stating how caused eg storm. Itemise all costs. Good luck.
