Life and trauma

Re: Life and trauma

@Former-Member

Those pillows can be right bastards! 🤣

It's amazing how addictive Lego can become.  There's always another set that looks too good to pass up.  It's just a damn expensive addiction though!  There's a Titanic set that's $1200!!  I'm addicted... but not that addicted 😁  If I send you a photo of a Titanic Lego set I just completed, please remind me of this post and tell me to go and seek some help. 🤣

One of the study trials I was invited into after I was diagnosed was a cardiac one.  Where you were randomly put into a group.. one group saw a cardiologist in addition to the regular treatments, the other group didn't and just proceeded normally.   He didn't believe me when I told him how much my bp drops when i stand.  He'd just taken it while i was sitting and said it looks good.  So he asked me to stand and he took it again.  He then looked at me and said "How are you standing?".  It's amazing what you get used to over time. 😁

I don't need to tell you that "too complicated" is not a good enough explanation.  When you talk to them, just tell them what is happening and if there is still a problem with them doing something ask them what you could do to make it easier.  It's hard to say much more without knowing the details, but i don't expect you to go into them so don't think that you need to.
