Happy new year @Zoe7 and everyone here!
Yes, I was awake at midnight celebrating the Sydney fireworks on ABC from my home in Melbourne with an alcoholic beverage!
I hope 2021 is better than you could have imagined and you get all you wished for including happiness, good health and success🍀

I just wanted to wish you a very Happy New year too!
Thank you so much for your beautiful message! You’re most welcome and it was my pleasure
There was a particular point in time last night when I felt particularly low. It was then (at almost that exact moment) that I received your email Your timing was absolutely perfect and I can’t tell you how much your words meant to me!
Thank you so much also for reaching back to me over these past few weeks I’m just so grateful for all of your time, care and thoughtfulness and how you invited me into your world and shared parts of your story with me I consider this to be such a privilege
I’ve fallen a little bit behind in reaching back to a few of your posts - I’m so sorry Please know that I haven’t forgotten you, I’ve just been finding things a little bit difficult lately and so putting my thoughts together takes me so much longer!
Take care of yourself and I’ll be in touch

Hello.
I wish you avery Happy New Year too. I do hope that 2021 is a great year for you. More beauty than sadness.
You said : There was a particular point in time last night when I felt particularly low. It was then (at almost that exact moment) that I received your email Your timing was absolutely perfect and I can’t tell you how much your words meant to me!
Reading that made me smile. Whatever my words did for you, I am glad they did what they did. You are loved and cared for.
You are so welcome @ShiningStar Thankyou for expressing your gratitude. I considered it great to be there for you. There are never any guarantees on Sane that we are going to be able to assist anyone, so having so much kind and loevly feedback from people I talk to is so very lovely. Your comments and our exchanges are also helping me through some very difficult times.
I understand where you are at. Please do not put any real pressure on yourself. I do know what it is like to be having really hard times with the head and trying to form anything. Putting pressure on the brain doesn't help, so just give it time and respond if you want to and you feel your brain can manage.
Sending love.
Powderfinger.

Thanks @MDT for the Auld Lang Syne - loved it! Also, I have a question for you and anyone else who I think may have done
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy - what did you get from it & would you recommend it? It's such a big commitment if you do it in a group. Has anyone done it individually & still gained from it? I live with depression & have trouble regulating my mood & behaviour so I'm wondering if it's worth the commitment & whether I'm willing to try to change when I'm amotivated!?!
Thanks in advance for your feedback
