❤️ @Shaz51 My girl rang at 9pm last night needing money for food and cigarettes. Gosh it stirred some emotions in my husband and I. Badly triggered us both and we ended up arguing about whether to give or not 😞 I buckled and sent her the money. Don’t know if I’m being manipulated or not as her story as to why she’s broke was very convincing. Just telling myself if it was for food then I’ve done the right thing. I know it wouldn’t be for drugs as she’s screened regularly and has been clean for the past 12 months. Tension headache today so taking myself to the beach for a float 🙏

Very hard but I would of sent my children money at a drop of a hat xxx

Even my cousin texted me last year , and we sent money to him

Thanks for that reply @Shaz51. The thought of her being hungry breaks my heart. I know she doesn’t and never has managed her money very well and at this point it’s the only form of mothering I can provide. She’s not well and needs my support in whatever way I can give it. I’m much better this afternoon after a float and I have peace of mind knowing I’ve done the right thing. The Financial Guardian is pretty strict with what they give her with no give when she genuinely needs it. Very frustrating for her knowing she has funds but can’t access it. I’m hoping they will increase her payments during a review in February. The financial stress would only be adding to her woes. 🙏❤️

Hey @Shaz51 I just saw this post about Mr Shaz. I hope that he is doing okay and that you got to see the specialist. How is he doing now? Did you get any clarity of what it might have been? ❤️

Didn't see the specialist @amber22 , @hanami 

Mr shaz just went back on the dosage he was on last year and the lump has disappeared and the fighting dreams are gone 

But the itchiness all over is every second day now

noticed a familiar title and checked in..

Mr Shaz struggling again with medication is so very hard on you both..

I do hope that all side effects settle..

The nightmare type dreams is very unsettling and frightening..

You know that I always think of you and Mr Shaz..

Gosh that goes back years doesn't it..

Hi @Krishna 

I don't know the story with your girl - your daughter I presume - and someone else is in charge of her income - that can't be easy for you when she needs money - and you know she doesn't manage her finances well. That's very hard

In the past - many years - decades ago - my son was in a bad place - and I knew giving him money was enabling - it's a long story - he had a good home but couldn't live with us legally - he would come around and be starving and dirty and I would give him food and clean clothes. Then I would wash his clothes so they would be ready the next time he came around

So yes - without knowing you or your situation - I do know it's very hard for you - but as bad as you feel there is no need. You do what you can and caring for yourself is the priority. All the best - I will be looking forward to reading more

Hey @Sophia1 @Shaz51 @Thyme. Well my friends, the three year wait is over 🙏 My girl has invited us to her place on Saturday and I’m not sure how I’m feeling 😞I’ve been waiting and hoping for this day for so long now it seems a little surreal and I don’t want to get too excited in case she changes her mind. We’ve had a few easy flowing conversations recently and I can hear a really clear positive change in her voice. Gosh it’s going to be good to hug her and as always, hope for the best possible outcome 🙏
