No @Maggie anything but. I'm fairly close to the bottom of the barrel but I have a very specialised skills set and I'm old so they do let me get away with heaps.

I'm a dedicated worker and I willingly put in many extra hours for no remuneration when operational needs require the additional hourd. Don't worry. I'm just mad and totally outrageous

They've got some amazing meds for anxiety now that in my opinion are equivalent to magic bullets.

I think my anxiety requires more than meds LOL Though I would welcome relief. A magic bullet WOW.

I'm older than retirement age @Maggie! A lot closer to 70. 60 is long since gone. Sounds as if we have lot in common. I do enjoy my work. I think I'd get bored very quickly if I did retire.

I want to move to a much warmer climate and I'm mad enough to think I'd get a job in my area of expertise at my age!

My anxiety was through the roof until I started on an ssri that is known to be particularly effective for anxiety. We're not permitted to give names. I'm now a completely new person - probably the person I was born to be! 🎶

A warmer climate sounds like qld, not me I hate the heat. Summer is the one season I dread, I told you I'm outrageously mad. A crisp frost with sun coming through later is perfect for me, 16 is great!!!!! I was born in Ireland so explains a lot.

Your med sounds like a life changer. I get debilitating depression, tried almost every AD, even ECT, nothing seems to break through the darkness. Hospitilisation, nothing. Feels so hopeless often. 

You sound like you just might land a job when you move, I hope so. I've moved twice in the last 18 mths so I'm hoping this is my forever home!!!!

So you're a 1950s baby? What month? I'll be 67 in August.

I can cope with 16 OK but the -temps in the early mornings shpuld be banned.

I'm off to Ireland in May next year because my son is marrying an Irish lass. We'll be down on the south coast.

I haven't planned this weekend yet but my home desperately needs attention so apart from basic groceries and getting my nails done I think I'll have to dead lock my doors and make myself do housework.

I'm still lounging idly in my bed.

Hi @Kurra I'm lounging idly in bed now. A long warm shower, an electric blanket, doesn't get much better than that.

How do the nails look??? Do you get a patterned affect?? Never had mine done but see some good results on tv.

So you're off to Ireland next year, have you been before??? My mother was from Waterford father from cork... I hope you enjoy every minute of it. May should be pleasant weather over there.

Yes a 50s baby, I turned 66 last March, so there's only about 7 mths between us.

I'm glad today is ending, I had a really bad start today,but things improved. I bought Two camellias for my garden, so will prepare the soil and plant them out during the week. I was lucky with this flat, the garden is a blank canvas, so I can create what I like and I am going for it.

Hope you got some groceries and a dead lock for the doors, seems like the only way you'll manage that dreaded housework. Good luck. Enjoy your evening.

What colour are the camellias @Maggie. The ground here is rock solid and every time I eant to plant something I have to get the crowbar out.

I must go and turn my electric blanket on. It's far too cold for me says she sitting outside without a coat on. Quite masochistic obviously. I've got a bit done in the house as well as the weekly groceries.

@Kurra One camellia is very faint pink the other a nice pink. The ground here is great, easy digging.

Good on you for getting some housework done, and the weekly shopping. I get mine delivered, Coles, great. I actually get everything delivered, only go out when I have to like medical appointments. I walk my little dog and stay home mostly after that.

Hope the electric blanket has warmed up, sleep well.

I didn't get around to getting my nails done today so that's on tomorrow's list plus eyebrow and eyelash tinting since they're now completely grey.

My old bones are complaining bitterly tonight so
I'm thinking about snuggling down in bed soon and putting a movie on. I've got the Book Thief which I'm led to believe is very good.

@Kurra I hope your old bones have recovered a bit this morning, long enough to get your nails, eyebrows and eyelashes done at least. I must admit you sent me checking out my own in the bathroom mirror, still salt and pepper, more salt than pepper though, oh well!

I'm trying to,push myself out the door and walk my small dog...no luck so far, but plenty of time left in the day and it's looking to be another good one.

I have to order in some soil before I plant my camellias so no gardening today.

I get up really early and lately I hear kookaburras laughing in the distance when I open my door, it does make me smile and wonder what they find so funny so early in the mornings, but they have a much better view than we have. I love nature. Hugged a tree the other day.

How Was the Book thief movie????
