Battles

Re: Battles

@Glisten i read it as astronomy 😂. But I do also find astrology interesting in itself.

Re: Battles

@Dreamy  it’s ok. Some people get the two words confused.

One is science and another is the Barnum effect.

Some people also get the words specific and Pacific muddled. But that’s another story.

Re: Battles

@Glisten  I didn't get them confused as such just read it wrong 😂

It's been a long day, I'm ready to shutdown and disappear.

Re: Battles

@Dreamy @Glisten oh gosh i can't wrap my head around astronomy either how amazing is it!! astrology and astronomy have lots of overlap as well, pretty interesting stuff. i read that the moon's gravitational pull can impact our oceans/bodies of water... and as humans, we're 70% made up of water so apparently the moon impacts our mood too (hence the astrology links). not sure how accurate this info is so don't hold me to it!

@Dreamy slow progress is still progress. proud you for being here.

Re: Battles

@rav3n they are both very fascinating.

I've given up on colouring for tonight at least with pencils. Just not feeling it tonight, my mind really is elsewhere.

It's going to be one of those nights where it's going to take all of my strength to just make it through. There's so much racing around in my head and i can't make it stop.

Re: Battles

@rav3n i did actually try that earlier but it just wasn't helpful. I don't know right now what to do 😞. I'm trying to keep my head above water but every now and then I'm slipping under and it's getting harder to pull myself back up.

Re: Battles

i'm sorry to hear it wasn't helpful, can definitely be a hit or miss at times - but i'm really glad you gave it a shot @Dreamy

i wish there was a way i could pull you out of that water and get you sitting on a boat. but for now, know that i care. that we're rooting for you and we want you to feel safe. let's take some breaths together - they don't have to be deep to start, i think going too deep at the start makes those chest pains worse. when you inhale and exhale, pay attention to each breath and slowly make those breaths deeper and deeper (at a pace that works for you).

please don't hesitate to call 000 the moment you feel unsafe. you matter.

and i noticed the time just now, i'll be hopping off soon - i'm still thinking of you and hoping that this weekend is better for you. 💙

Re: Battles

Thanks @rav3n, I'm doing my best but when you feel like you are slipping it can be so scary.

Thanks for chatting to me and for the support. Have a good weekend, hopefully I'll chat to you another time. ❤️
