Re: Living with Ourselves
@Shaz51 the fig probably had around 150 fruits last year but they didn't ripen properly. Whereas the others not many because they're still young .

Re: Living with Ourselves
i love your pic (and yours too @Maggie ) nature is very pretty sometimes.
im sorry to hear that both you and hubby are sick. Winter has been a rather awful flu/illness season this year. i hope that you both get better soon
Like you, i tend to dissociate too. I have learnt that it is our brains way of coping with whatever is happening-like shutting down.
do you have ways to cope with dissociating? or coping with the stressors your facing? happy to share some that might help if you would like?
its ok that you dont really know how you are, sometimes there isnt really words to describe it and we just keep on trudging on through the days the best that we can. its ok to not be ok too.
you dont have to apologise for repeating yourself. if you havent but even if you have i dont mind, i definetly dont expect others to keep up with everything thats happening for me too. ๐
things are tough in my world atm esp with school holidays which means even more responsibilities. im slowly working my way through things with pop like ruling out what my causing this or that. he has an appt with a specilist in october- which seems so far away when getting more apropriate help would be much better suited now. We can only do what what can though hey. im still waiting to see a specialist of my own for womens health stuff but apparently they are pretty backed up as well atm being the only medicare funded specialist for that area of expertise. hospital appt is getting closer, its in november but still a few things to organise so in a way its good. not long finished antibiotics for a rather nasty tooth infection that had started to spread so feeling abit better now physically too.
how is your pain and things going, id imagine the colder months might make it abit more difficult to manage. my hand/arm injury has started acting up abit and going abit stiff, does that happen for you too?
You mean alot to me too and sending some warm hugs in return

Re: Living with Ourselves
Well done with your fruit trees @eudemonism
It seems that you have a green thumb.
The figs might prosper better next year.
Is a peacharine a combination of peach and apricot?
How are Mister and puss? Keeping you busy still I imagine..

Re: Living with Ourselves
You certainly have had a lot of physical issues for some time now.
The female issues I thought started ages ago. I can't believe that you still have to wait until October..
November for surgery...Yes you will be glad when that passes...I remember the lead up and just wanting to be post operative.
@outlander you are doing a brilliant job with your ongoing care for your Pop.
I am sure that you are keeping his doctor uptodate with any changes that might impact his safety and yours. You mentioned October for his next appointment? If you have concerns make an appointment with his GP. How is he when you mention that he has a doctor's appointment?
Yes my back does stiffen up when my exercise is reduced.
I just tell myself blah blah blah over and over and become lost in some other issue or part of my world.
I have been very emotional ...trying to keep the dreaded "d" away....
I notice that I am irritated easily...anxious..
In fact I read a list somewhere if you have any of the following you need to see a doctor...
I had every single symptom on the list and more so deleted the list...
I am so pleased that you are a Community Guide as you have so much compassion and empathy for someone in your situation as a young carer...let alone your own health issues...
You are one shining bright light...
Time to start cooking dinner..I did not realise it was so late.

Re: Living with Ourselves
I never read the terms and conditions to this site. And i never took the anonymous side to this site seriously. Due to the fact of being unwell.
And the tree is a cross between peach and nectarine.

Re: Living with Ourselves
Me car has got issues at the moment. needs a mechanic...
Trying to work out how I'm suppoed to make 3 equal 12 you know...
I'm not real happy with my lifestyle. The smoking. The coffee. The odd drink. The medication. They all play into one another. And it all starts with the medication. I'm sick of it aye.
Sleeping problems. Feeling drugged up from meds. Always using smokes and coffee to cope.
Sick of being tied up in the mental health scene in general. It's beyond a joke. It really is.
Just crying out for what i need basically .but thinking stuff it! It's all to hard to navigate, make happen for myself and maintain ...
