Ryker, out middle cat, we got from someone my partner knew.  She fostered cats (from the RSPCA I think, looking after them while waiting for them to get adopted - not 100% sure) and she had to go I testate for a week so we were asked if we minded taking care of Ryker while she was gone.  Of course we said yes, he was a tiny little kitten at the time.  Needless to say, he never left.  I still think I was set up, but I adore all of 10kg of the big scaredy cat! 🐈 🤗
