Hi everyone, I am a late diagnosed ADHDer having recieved a diagnosis a couple of months ago at 38.
My son was just diagnosed at 16 with more inattentive that hyperactive ADHD.

Its been a journey, and I think the impact of NOT having that diagnosis for my life until now is probably bigger than I realise. It has definitely had an impact on my mental health to feel that I was constantly just lazy, if I tried a bit harder etc.

As we move forward with therapy and treatment one of the biggest changes we are making is creating a home life that works for us, regardless of what others might think about how we do that.
