@chibam

"You can give a person a fish and they'll eat for a day, you can teach a person to fish and they'll eat for a lifetime"

I am 35, 2 university degrees, 4 trade certificates, multiple extra job appropriate things and no one will give me a chance

  • Too old for entry level - they can pay someone younger less
  • Overqualified for entry level
  • No experience for higher levels
  • Don't take volunteers to help gain experience
  • Can only do part time due to needing to maintain regular appointments
  • Can't do physical labour due to arthritis
  • Can't stand for long periods

We would not have a skills shortage if they employed us.

But they hear disability and they just think incapable.

While they give multiple part time positions to those who already have steady jobs.

They don't care about us, they give the war veterans and first responders extra funding due to PTSD but they don't think those that lived with trauma their entire lives and have complex PTSD need the same kind of help.

I mean come on
