Hi @Judi9877 I am so sorry to hear about Mitz having to be put down. My condolences and a big air hug ๐Ÿค— go out to you. My cat Regina (aka Reggie) had to be put down as she had a cancer at the side of her mouth and in the end she had a lot of trouble eating and lost a lot of weight. I was there by her side when we side our final goodbyes. I was crying before I made it out the door of the room she was in. That is the first time, I have actually been with one of my animals when they have died.

I am so glad that you enjoyed the cruise. Besides the sea sickness of your friend. I went on a small cruise ship for my honey moon ages ago. I was ok while on the cruise ship, but became sea sick when we went in the smaller glass bottom boat to look at the sea life.  I remember once I was on land, I was unsteady on my feet for a while and whenever I went to the toilet, I felt like the room was rocking. ๐Ÿšฝ๐ŸŒŠ

I really want to go to New Zealand. I just love the accent and the Hukka. That is one thing that I have on my bucket list. My best friend was from New Zealand,  and even though she had been in Australia for a long time, I could still hear Kiwi in her accent. Unfortunately, I lost her to breast cancer the same year my partner passed away. So I have been thinking that I might go to New Zealand via a cruise ship once I can actually afford it, and I have sort out my relationship status. Were their any single people on your cruise. I just don't know how safe I would be if I did the cruise alone? Something to worry about when it is closer to the time I suppose.

I too love doing Cross Stitch too and now Diamond Dots. I actually now have the time to do either of them, but I just don't feel the vibe, as I really need to sort through my belongings in the cabin I live in and make a spot where I can do either of these without taking up too much room.

I purchased an Egyptian cross stitch to do for my mum, as she loves anything Egyptian. The idea was to do it for her 60th Birthday. I remember taking everything out of the packet, and there were so many different shades of yellow and gold, I remember thinking, that this is going to be fun. I put everything back in the pack and that is where it has stayed. My mum is now 84. I did have a stand that I would need to attach the cross stitch to, but found it a few months ago all mouldy and broken, so will need to look for another one, so I can make a start on it. I might even have a look right now while I think of it. Lol Just found one for $29.04

Anyway, it's good to have you back, even though I have not been that social myself lately ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
