Many thanks all of you for this wonderful flood of messages, pictures and even a cake from Meggle - - what a wonderful gift for my 80th birthday - which is something special all of its own.

After all - not everyone gets to their 80th birthday and we only get one of them in a lifetime so it is pretty special - thanks again - and for the cake Meggie - and to Shaz - who remembers everyone's birthday.

It was a great day and even the weather came to the party - a sunny day in Melbourne - wow - it was one out of the box
