Hi @Meowmy, I'm having a very good day so far, our church is discussing a resolution to make LGBTQIA+ concerns central at presbytery council so we will be much more included and safe in the life of our church. That's a great step forwards. Our church is progressive, but we do have a fundamentist element that often expresses hatred towards my LGBT community, so it's really good that we're focusing on the resolution.

We all have a right to our beliefs, whatever they are, but tolerance and love aren't about our beliefs, they're about how respectfully we live and let live...and I'm afraid the fundamentalists amongst us often forget that, they have a right to their fundamentalism, but a duty to live and let live, and church is for everyone, they're not the only holy people.
