@Flax

Aaaaahhh the little sooty kitty has a permanent place in our hearts. I had to take my time reading, but was very happy about the thoughtfulness.   Glad he was rescued and is safe and sound back in the forest among friends rather than dealing with hurtling metal boxes and vicious revolving doors in concrete towers.

I think you raise an important point about going through hard times.  They are rarely improved, by skimming the surface and going straight to positive mode.  Creative writing and narrative therapy can be a boon.  Love the detail re Sophia's surprising super sportscar.  Love the image of sooty at the wheel of a lumbering Yanktank.

What Is Ideal for a Ballet Dancer's Body?Showcasing ballet's rising stars as they return to the stage

To imagine music glorious enough to dance, even in a musty dark castle room is a wonderful moment.  The nameless little girl looks forward to Vanessa the ballet teacher's visits.

@Shaz51 The cooks generosity produces the predicament of comfy tum or gorgeous ballet legs.  Which will win?
