Dear Friend,
Thank you for recognising that I do not take over the conversation maliciously. It is anxiety related as you said. I am sorry being an interrupter is such a bad habit. I will try to be more considerate in the future.
Yes it was nice to buy dinner last night. It sounds like you also had a nice dinner. The weather was beautiful here the last two days but we are going back into another week of cold and wet weather. Yesterday hubby and I went for a walk along an ocean path close to home and then we went for a little drive in the trees which was very pleasant.
I think all the fresh air wore us out as we both had a sleep in today.
How are you doing?
All my love,
Eeyore
My Dear friend, Eeyore,
I might have confused you and am very sorry for putting you through that.
When I first wrote a letter addressed to Dear Friend, it was purely for me to write about a situation in my real life, where when out with a group of friends, I often find my quiet, little voice talked over. This is not because I am shy. This is because my voice has a very soft tone and I have always been a strong listener, interested in hearing what others have to say.
The letter was not about you @Oaktree or @Lilaca or anyone else on the forums.
I was using the form of a letter to release my pent up feelings about real life experiences.
You have said nothing at all to offend me. Quite the opposite. Your letters and comments have been an absolute delight to receive and read.
Thank you and I have just noticed that your icon is now Eeyore. How very cute and clever.
Walking along ocean paths as long as rugged up appropriately is a lovely experience. Fresh air is tiring in a wonderful way.
I too slept in today as I had two days in a row, out in a town 30kms away.
I was going to go out again today but the wet and cold have convinced me to stay inside in the warm.
I am cooking a curry for dinner.
Look forward to your next letter when you have time of course dear Eeeyore
with love from your friend Tigger. (alias Sophia)
