I have been around the forum for years - since after my mother died and I found a can of worms (memories) I couldn't look at before she died - and then had to deal with it. Yes - I saw a psychologist.
Reaching out can be tough - if you are shy - I think you did a great job with that other person btw - that was a toughie yet you persisted - well done.
I was bereaved just over a year ago and took months off - my uncle was not much older than me and my friend all my life - my best friend - so the loss was considerable. I have just had two weeks in a private general hospital too and have other problems so I am just getting back into it - if you like I will tag you into my thread where we are already friends and the conversation is honest and caring - okay - I will tag you in and you can make the choice yourself.
I am glad to have found you - the website is pretty big and impossible to keep up with everyone - I pick and choose any new people - there are a lot of things I can't deal with
