Felt on the a bit crap side of things because of lockdown, cold and dreary and so on.

Till I applied my own medicine: I hang out with my indoor plants and propagated some other to spread the joy. Feel much better.

When I am down I try to remind myself to draw from my strengths, in this case appreciation of beauty

A few years past I came across https://www.viacharacter.org/ and their free survey to find out your own strengths

They still send emails that are useful and the website has good articles too.

Has anybody else done this survey too?

I also extracted myself out of wobbly lethargy by giving myself a laughingly do-able challenge: pick 5 tiny things that need doing, try to do them fast and savour the sense of achievement. Once it gets me going, i keep on going usually. Like if I task myself to put away 5 small items (ie pen, elastic band, ...) I often keep going and get further mood boost from achieving beyond the first challenge.

When my mind plays with me, I'll play with my mind.

Hope you all had at least something nice in your day
