Thanks everyone for coming, it gives me great pleasure to introduce our new Guardian and Magistrate @tonys 

He has a few words to say!

hmm hmm, Good morning everyone and thank you for being here. I am truly honoured to be entrusted with the roles of Guardian and Magistrate. It is the goal of every good scallywag to attain such positions of power. No but really you can trust me to have your best interests at heart in every decision I make.

Without further ado I would like to announce the renaming of our town from the native Grey Rock to the more progressive Greystone. We are now all Greystonian’s together. This change is coincided with the repainting of the town’s signs and markers. It will be reflected in the first edition of the Town Newspaper - The Greystone Tribune - later today.

And now dear friends, you are all cordially invited back to The Two-Bit Saloon for a barbecue, drinks and dancing to celebrate.

I have terrific news for you.

A building at the end of Main Street has been bought and paid for by a local benefactor. Said benefactor has also bought the most modern printing press, supplies and equipment for you. You can move in and print your first newspaper today. It is looking located conveniently right next to Tony’s Diner where you can satisfy all your coffee needs.

@tonys you've been lobbed with 3 new positions hey? When are you going to have time to get drunk!? And what am I going to do now that you've been appointed guardian of this town you ask? Take over as town drunk mwahaha...

Re residents, you're completely right Sophia, let them come. "Wooden spoon" shall remain, as code for anyone who feels uncomfortable or unsafe in thise expanding town. Stranger danger moment is now over. Was worried because they tagged you tonys, thought it might be a shady character from your past 🙂

PS I think Miss Pea is happy in her home for now, but she knows where we are if she wants.

I see you trying to catch up on the going’s on in Town. Last night was eventful, I had a run in with another person and it ended in Sophia and I having a heart to heart on another thread. All you need to know is that we all love each other and want the best for each other. We have introduced a code word. If anyone gets upset or offended we say “wooden spoon”

When the wooden spoon is dropped @tonys will come running or if @tonys drops the spoon @Sophia1 will come running. They are the most sensible people here. I think this is a great system. Now that we have a code word hopefully we won’t need it. 

I hope you are ready to jump back into town. As you can see town names have changed and evolved again

Ok @Oaktree, glad you're alright. Was this a disaster caused by your bumbling sheriff again? Honestly thank god the mantle is going to tonys, I am far too much of an overprotective mother duck to be in that role. Sorry I wasn't there for support, glad you had tonys and Sophia there for you xxx

The bumbling Sheriff had nothing to do with it but I was left asking myself why I end up in miscommunications. Clearly something is going wrong on my end. It was with another forum user who had just returned to the forums yesterday.

Nah @Oaktree you communicate fine. It's so so difficult for us to get the right tone through text, we are all constantly mired in misunderstandings and accidental interpretations. It's definitely not you meggle, stress not, you're perfect just the way you are 🙂
