Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

@Maggie .... I had to learn to stand up to WH's family that way early on in our marriage ..... it was sink or swim .... but I had to work out how to do that without compromising my own values.  Took a while ....

Never dreamed I would be faced with it in WH one day .... 😔

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

Sending warm hugs @Faith-and-Hope. I know your grief - I never dreamed I would be going through same with my daughter....we were so close and she was so loving and good then. It really is the worse kind of heartache. But they may come back to us in time my friend 🌹Did you get some sleep last night?

It is an art to stand up to those whom can abuse or hurt us without lowering our own values lashing back. It does take strength. But esssential not to loose ourselves in the long run. You are strong @Faith-and-Hope.

@Maggie - the picture came too late lol. I have been stitching most of the day. Couldn't stay away any longer. I am working on "Sweerheart Gate" by Dimensions. Will try and inserts pictures of the pattern and where I am up to later tonight.

I feel better today physically but am worried about my husband whom doesn't seem himself. When he suffers so do I and then I usually go down. I don't want to get depressed again - I wish life would give a breather....😢

I can picture both dogs snuggled up on your knees - such cuteness. If you feel so inspired you can take a pic of  just them on your lap and post it here to put a smile on our dials 💜🌹xxxx

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

Hi @Faith-and-Hope@Maggie@Former-Member@Adge
I don't know how good the photos of "my cross stitch work in progress" will turn out as I just used my phone camera this tIme but will give it a try. If it doesn't turn out real good I can update when I stitch more by using my SLR camera. It's called "Sweetheart gate by Dimension. I will insert the finished pictured pattern with my work so you will see what it will look like when finished. Here goes - let me know what you think. P.S. The bird sitting on the gate is a willy wag tale. Just like my Willy that comes to me on my balcony everyday to Say "hi". And we have a great old chat. Yes I talk to the birds - Willy Almost every day. Been caught out a few times 😨😚😝So below is my tribute to my Willy 💘🐧

Just tried downloading the photos of my stitched work thus far and the file was too big. Will have to take some more pics tomorrow with another camera and post later. For now I will download a copy of the pattern I am working on so you can see Willy 😮😜

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

@Former-Member You need a breather, I hope your husband will be ok. Always here to listen if it helps.

Your cross stitch is absolutely beautiful, you are very clever. I don't know if you have been to Cheerbears thread lately...I'm in a nest... She has a pic of a crochet blanket she in the process of doing. The colours and pattern are just beautiful, you might like a peep. Very creative people.

I didn't get a pic of the girls yesterday, they don't like to be disturbed..lol...I will get one today, guaranteed to bring a smile to the dial.

I also talk to the birds, hug trees, howl at a full moon, gaze at stars and I'm outrageously mad, as you can see, I never suffer from boredom. We have a group of white cockatoos. You can hear them coming for miles.

A white frost this morning, definitely in the -. Whatever your day holds, I hope it will be as good as can be expected. Sending warm wishes skidding through the frost.

@Former-Member Here are the girls.undefined

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

undefinedAhhh - how cute are they? Great photo. The cutie on the right's expression is almost human - her face saids it all "whatch you doing there lady?". Haha. Made my day seeing this. I adore your warm little pooches. How long are you minding your friend's sister dog? They seem to get on well together which is good. Thank you @Maggie for brightening up my day.  How was your day? Mine was busy but getting better 😊.

I will see if I have a couple of photos of my black British girl Ebony. The photos aren't very clear but will give you an idea. Was that a mobile phone you used to take that photo. Such good quality, what type was it? ❤️

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

Oops @Maggie - sent the last rather modest photo of my British girl by mistake - here are a couple of slightly better ones, but cou,d be clearer. In the second photo she looks like part of the Christmas lights lol 😂 undefined

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

Hello @Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope @Maggie

Am back home now after 8 quite hectic weeks travelling uk.

have slept little in that time.

add little sleep, jet lag, major depression, anxiety. Don't know what gad is not up with latest categories as prefer to be me dealing with whatever again.

cant write anything encouraging head too fragmented feels as though it wants to implode or explode.

am ratty, irritable, tears have not yet landed. Parts of me are scattered between the two hemispheres .

my son is in a special place inside somewhere not even sure of where just know that he will always be near

and now the tears start to flow. Can't keep it bottled up for too long.

just needed to let go of stuff.
