oh and here is me thinking that Sooty is not too bad at art @Flax
Although he does look somewhat startled ...almost as though he has had an electric shock..
has he been playing with electrical cords plugged into the wall again..
He also looks like he has shrunk...must have been after his long day out..
He does look better than when drenched though..
I think that his eyes have changed colour ...
Has he been rubbing the ancient golden coin along with Vanessa ballet dancing around the castle ..
how does she tutor the bee I wonder? @Oaktree

oh laugh @Adge
what on earth is in his mouth?
is it stuck...
Horrace does not look impressed at all and looks as though he is about to spit it out....
I wonder who will be the unlucky person to wear whatever the infant bat mixture is..

Aaaaahhh the little sooty kitty has a permanent place in our hearts. I had to take my time reading, but was very happy about the thoughtfulness. Glad he was rescued and is safe and sound back in the forest among friends rather than dealing with hurtling metal boxes and vicious revolving doors in concrete towers.
I think you raise an important point about going through hard times. They are rarely improved, by skimming the surface and going straight to positive mode. Creative writing and narrative therapy can be a boon. Love the detail re Sophia's surprising super sportscar. Love the image of sooty at the wheel of a lumbering Yanktank.
To imagine music glorious enough to dance, even in a musty dark castle room is a wonderful moment. The nameless little girl looks forward to Vanessa the ballet teacher's visits.
@Shaz51 The cooks generosity produces the predicament of comfy tum or gorgeous ballet legs. Which will win?
@Adge @HenryX @Sophia1 and all following ....

Hello @Appleblossom
@HenryX @Adge @Shaz51 @Flax @Exoplanet
what wonderful mystical or mischievous adventures we can weave from a new ballet teacher. ..did you notice Vanessa did not mention the gold coins? Perhaps Megs has not told her. Is this a clever diversion?
The piano teacher will be accompanying the ballet performance of course
As for the rest of us I am quite sure that an adventure or misadventure of some sort will present itself involving Sooty..Horace..Little Bee..professor x watching over the nameless little girl and of course the Cook. ..
What could possibly happen ..?
Hmm what about that gold coin?
If it can transform?

Hello @Appleblossom and @Shaz51 , @Flax , @Exoplanet ,@Shaz51 , @Adge
I love the characteristic elegance and style, displayed in the balerina photos and the prospect of Vanessa, the ballet teacher coming to the castle.
Hope I'm on the right track.
Best Wishes

Little Bee was so excited that there was a Bee-Keeping Ballerina at the
castle! They needed help with their Waggle Dance, a very important dance
for a bee as it communicated where the best flowers with the best nectar could
be located. Little Bees dance always led the whole hive of bees very close
to the right spot, & the rest of the bees never complained as they always found
the best nectar, just left of centre from where Little Bees dance took them.
So, the little bee drew a picture of the dance, as if a bee-keeping Ballerina
wouldn't already know it!
They even filmed themselves in action, in the hope that Vanessa could see where
they were going wrong.
Armed with the best they could to explain to the beautiful ballerina, what
the problem was - off they buzzed with a steel determination that they would
learn how to get the angles right! Even if it meant using the magic coin to
become Human for a little while . . . eerrgghh! -they shuddered at the thought!

Good morning all
@Appleblossom @Exoplanet @HenryX @Adge @Shaz51 @Oaktree @Flax
The story is weaving it's way the minds of several..
different ideas having so many possibilities of flowing on and adding to new..
I love the idea of varieties of dance...
there are so many different forms...
ancient dance as a performance....ball...depending on where...an inclusion of all..around a roaring fire....
dance follows and allows music..
again so many genres..
It is a huge castle with many rooms.
There can be so much going on at any given time with different characters and different fun..
Then we have outside @Exoplanet brilliant ....love the draught of idea and the circle with the moving bee...so much like your user name...little bee love your ideas...
