Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Dear Friend @NatureLover

I am sorry to hear that you have not been feeling well.

I forgot all about that when I became engrossed in continuing the  story telling.

It is lovely to have you back with us and wonderful that you are really enjoyed this feel-good thread. I like the way that you have written that.

........................It was a lovely gesture of Kanga to assist Roo and Tigger in writing to Aloysius. What a mouthful to say. The merry band of friends might need some lessons in how to pronounce such a name as well as the spelling.

Tigger was very focussed on what he might write to Aloysius once he had learnt how to spell his name along with asking Kanga to check what he had written.

In his letter he asked Aloysius exactly what he did at night in the dark. He was aware that bats hung upside down in the daytime in very dark areas.

Hmm he thought. Perhaps I could ask Owl as owls are awake at night in dark places calling out hoot hoot hoot.

Owl was asleep at the moment.

Tigger wrote his letter and decided to fold the paper into a card form thinking that it might seem like a present that way. He attempted to draw a picture of a bat which looked more like an ink blot.

Well he thought. He had tried and that was the best that he could do.

He gave his card to Kanga to put with the other letters  written to Aloysius.

Now how was Horace feeling with his sore throat? He could not ask him as it was not good for Horace to talk and strain his voice.

Tigger steppped outside of the cave cautiously and grabbed the closest wildflowers that he could find. He returned to  the inner section of the cave and presented the colourful wildflowers to Horace. Horace bravely smiled and waved in gratitude.

Well what now Tigger thought? Where are Owl, Eeyore, Christopher Robin (who apparently had a mother who was grumpy also) That now made two grumpy people.

Tigger was tempted to  try to come up with an idea of how to cheer up the two grumpy people. He wanted to help his good friend, Christopher Robin.

He thought it might be best to ask his other friends.

Roo, Owl, Gumnut baby, Christopher Robin, Eeyore, White Rabbit, Little Bee are you somewhere nearby?.............

@Lilaca@Exoplanet@Oaktree@NatureLover@Sophia1@Adge

Christopher Robin here has a touch of a sore throat

might try some of that stuff for his throat after getting wet walking back to the cave

sitting down with all his friends

she was starting to feel happier then she did before

and hoping she remembers all her friends names , she feels she has forgotten someone and hoping they will let her know soon

love

christopher robin ( shaz51)

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Oh, so you are Christopher Robin @Shaz51

Very good.

I have not done any Creative Writing, since I was in Primary School (1970's).

So very out of practice.

I always thought that the character EEYORE the Donkey has received a lot of Bad Press - To me, EEYORE seem more Sensible & more Grounded in reality (his surroundings), than many other characters.

@Adge

If you would like to join in we have several spare characters up for grabs as follows;

*Aloysius the grumpy post bat

*Horrace has currently got tonsillitis but is apprentice post bat
*Christopher Robins' Mother

or you could make up a random character of your own

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Maybe Horrace @Oaktree As I always had chronic Tonsillitis through my Teens into 20's.

Aloysius is a lovely old name - don't hear of anyone with that name, these days.

I have not met a Horrace recently, either...
