Share a cuppa?

Re: Share a cuppa?

and that even applies to when the kids want to help me! @tyme it’s actually more exhausting when they do help me but I know one day they will stop asking so

Re: Share a cuppa?

So true @ArraDreaming . Honestly, it's not easy being so accessible to 3 kids day and night, but i treasure it because they grow up very fast. I know I need to make the most of this time I have with them. This world can be too unkind sometimes. I want to be there for them.

But yes, sometimes I'm exhausted with them, but I still give of myself just to have that time with them.

So yes @ArraDreaming , if it means being amazed at a book even 100 times, just do it... it won't last forever.

I'll be hopping off now, but will speak to you sometime over the weekend - once you finish from your big kid skating lol. Watch your back though! Don't need any accidents!

Good night to everyone @Bow @Abner @Shaz51 @Meowmy - we'll speak over the weekend.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Yeah good chat @tyme yeah I’m keen for the skate park!! Have a good weekend feel better soon

Re: Share a cuppa?

I can relate to struggles with breathing @tyme, I have asthma.

It's great when the house is really quiet and everything feels settled, or at least momentarily calmed down.

Good morning everyone, I'm going to my church council meeting on zoom today, as I woke up quite late after a very restful and deep sleep last night. So if anyone wants a cuppa...

Re: Share a cuppa?

@Abner good morning. @Bow @ArraDreaming @tyme @Shaz51 love a cuppa. Enjoy Saturday

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hi @Meowmy, I'm having a very good day so far, our church is discussing a resolution to make LGBTQIA+ concerns central at presbytery council so we will be much more included and safe in the life of our church. That's a great step forwards. Our church is progressive, but we do have a fundamentist element that often expresses hatred towards my LGBT community, so it's really good that we're focusing on the resolution.

We all have a right to our beliefs, whatever they are, but tolerance and love aren't about our beliefs, they're about how respectfully we live and let live...and I'm afraid the fundamentalists amongst us often forget that, they have a right to their fundamentalism, but a duty to live and let live, and church is for everyone, they're not the only holy people.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hope everyone is okay today @Abner @Meowmy @Bow @ArraDreaming @Shaz51

Thinking of you and warming up with a hot cuppa.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hey @tyme thanks for the tag
I hope the cuppa warms you up
the sun is shining here right now but it’s very cold and rainy still, we have been busy today going to Bunnings and a few nurseries!! Had about 4 coffees though 😬 really not good for this mess of an adhd brain to have that much caffeine but i went for a walk this morning and got a take away and then we had visitors so had one with them then they stayed a bit longer so I made a second then I made and then just sat down and had one at one of the nurseries we visited
Yikes

might get some gardening done this afternoon if Bunnings has what I need

Re: Share a cuppa?

also if you made that cuppa @tyme that’s very good latte art i can’t tell

i really want to get some pre winter planting done also on a side note I saw last night that there is a local olive day coming up where if you have an olive tree for free you can take the olives in to this place and they make them into olive oil for you so I just need to work out how to de olive our giant tree
