Well that’s good. Maybe try some muscle relaxation techniques. Tense up a part of your body then relax it. Work your way around the body

 I would really recommend TIPP, google it and do the temperature one. Lean over and hold your breath whilst putting something cold over the top half of your face. Your body goes into the dive reflex and shuts down the panic.

All good suggestions from @Oaktree.  I'm not sure what else to suggest either to calm those thoughts down.  You need to find some way to tell yourself they are just that... thoughts.  They can worry us, and stress us, but they cant hurt us.  I wish i knew how to help you quiet them.
