Thanks for the consistent tags @TAB  even though I haven't been responding. I do appreciate being remembered however.  And I do read your updates here, and elsewhere on the forums.  I just haven't been very active myself, as I once again await my approaching surgery date.

Ok sounds busy @Shaz51  well to me anyway. 
cleaned up a bit here, chores, dishes washing, rubbish out. Feel better having done that. 
just taking it easy . Got hospital in 2 weeks time. Getting half my thyroid removed. Waited like a year. No all of a sudden it's happening. Bit scary. Getting Will done be operation ok bit like insurance dont need it till you need it lol

I'll be thinking of you then @TAB , re surgery.  Half your thyroid being removed doesn't sound like the most pleasant of things.  How long do you expect to be in hospital for?  Your surgery is in 2 weeks time?  So it will be around the same time as mine then. 

My surgery was meant to be 2 weeks ago, on 11th October.  But they changed it with 2 weeks to go.  Its now 8th November and my second one on 12th November.  Yeah 2 major surgeries, 4 days apart. Not looking forward to that.  Will likely be in hospital for at least 4 weeks in total.  Sydney for 2 weeks and my local hospital for another 2 for rehab.

So by the sound of it, we will be surgery buddies.  So my thoughts will be with you, and I really hope everything goes well and to plan.
