The good news is I finished the adult blanket I was knitting yesterday however when I posted it to a group on Facebook, someone made a comment saying it should have a border around it. That now means I have to spend extra time working on it to make a border just to conform to supposedly what the charity wants which I didn’t expect or want to do to be honest. I personally feel the charity should be grateful to receive the blanket as it was done to their requirements however obviously not so which is a little annoying. At least I was able to listen to the new Taylor Swift album and Carly Rae Jepson album on my iPhone which I downloaded from Apple Music which was good. I’m now knitting another adult blanket - I started it before putting my finished one up on Facebook- so I’ll get to knitting the border for the other blanket eventually before I decide to donate it. I’ll just make sure all my new blankets have a border on them in future. Lesson learned and time to move on!
Melbourne has decided to put on a day of mixed weather with a combination of rain on and off and overcast skies so a perfect day for staying inside and knitting I think. I might also think about doing some reading of a novel I’m yet to return to the library as well. Not very interesting I’m afraid!
