Dogs Rock 😆

One of the best things I have done was get a dog. I may care for my sons but my dog cares for me. She is a jug ( 3/4 pug, 1/4 jack russell) and is as cute as a button. A few weeks ago i was on the couch sobbing, it had been a horrible day and i look up and shes trotting to me with a pair of my sons blue undies in her mouth. She had gotten them out of the laundry basket ( dirty washing basket mind you)  and was offering them to me - a gift to feel better. I ended up laughing through the tears. 

I cannot imagine life without her...

That's a wonderful story @Exhausted. Likewise, my dog is such a great companion. She's sitting beside me whilst I type on my iPad. So calming, just stroking her fur. Love that name - jug. Never heard that one before 😆

@soul @Exhausted1 The best thing in my life is my little dog also. She's rescued me more times than I can count. She's asleep snoring next to me on her bed, which I share.

Dogs are so wonderful. Always happy to see you and so happy when being taken for a walk that it makes me happy to see them.

Naww. So cute. I am so busy that I haven't taken them since the weekend. Waaay too long in their opinion. No one could say dogs don't have expressions. My older dog has some dementia I think and she looks confused at times.

Mine sits expectantly beside me and gives me that look. If I don't acknowledge her, she gives a little woof. She knows when it's time to walk.

When the kids were at school, I used to tell her "the kids will be home soon" and she used to wait at the front door for their arrival.
