Christmas Loungeroom

Re: Christmas Loungeroom

Our makeshift tree is quite small @Zoe7
Good when we travel.

There is a lot of smoke about though 😕

Re: Christmas Loungeroom

Oh but I really like Broccoli @Former-Member.

You can leave Brussels Sprouts out - Mum forced us to eat lots of those, when I was young (yuk).

So I've never liked Brussels Sprouts since then - they're not quite so bad with melted Butter (or white sauce) on them.

Re: Christmas Loungeroom

@MDT @Former-Member @Adge @TAB  I have put together my little train track and train with 2 christmas carriages - the tree looks even smaller in the middle of it LOL - then when I put the presents there too the poor litte tree will just about disappear but it is something for tomorrow.

I can't believe how clean my place looks - but it won't stay like that once I start getting everything out of the spare room after christmas to sort through - boxed everything up in no particular order just to get it out of the living spaces!

@MDT The fires around the country are horrific - so many people losing homes, stock, animals and lives lost - simply heartbreaking. I went through a major fire when I was in my early 20s - packed up my cat and a few things and left early. We were lucky that it actually jumped over our houses ...burnt both sides of the hill and left the houses in between untouched - absolutely exxtraordinary at the time ...someone was looking out for us for sure.

Re: Christmas Loungeroom

@Adge  despite green veg that begin with B that are part of the mustard plant family would still  be off the menu if you came to our place for Christmas lunch, I would ensure you were well catered for with vegetarian options.images (44).jpeg

@Adge I love broccoli too (or little trees as I call them) but am very much with everyone else on brussel sprouts - hate them Smiley Sad @Former-Member
