Re: Christmas Loungeroom

I have managed to get another christmas present today so slowly, slowly I am getting it all done. I still have no idea what I am going to get my dad but I have something for everyone else or know what I am going to get - so that is a start. Was going to try to brave the traffic and the crowds and go into the city tomorrow afternoon but I am feeling very tired so it will be a wait and see kind of day.

I am actually looking forward to christmas this year - maybe it is because there will be more of us getting together and maybe it is because I am back to work - whatever reason it is I feel okay about it this year.

I know others are struggling with this time of year so my thoughts go out to you all and for those who like christmas I hope you enjoy the day with whatever way you choose to celebrate it Smiley Very Happy

Re: Christmas Loungeroom

you'll get there @Zoe7

Re: Christmas Loungeroom

I still have absolutely no idea what to get for my Dad @TAB - he is so hard to buy for and doesn't offer anything if asked - sooo hard Smiley Frustrated

I would like to get most of it done tomorrow then I can go shopping with Dad for things for Mum on the weekend. Last year my sister went with him because I wasn't well enough - I actually miss having that time with him though so happy to go this year.

How are you travelling today?

Re: Christmas Loungeroom

maybe you can gain some intel on present when shopping with him @Zoe7 Cat Happy

umm, not too bad, thanks for asking, well its payday for last weeks efforts tomorrow, have a shift tomorrow, so that will be a chistmas present lol. just having to be a bit more disciplined here/distract self, too much time on my hands atm lol oh, just got a reply from a job app interstate that had completely forgotten about it was so long ago, Im in the running to be shortlisted lol

How are you doing ?

Re: Christmas Loungeroom

I'm pretty tired tonight but I do need to go out soon and get some cat food - I could wait until tomorrow but it is on special today so that will save me some money @TAB

I have just about exhausted my funds so I am looking forward to pay day next week as well - need it to cover my mortgage so hope there is no drama there as there was last time as the pay guy will be on holidays and I won't be able to get it sorted until late in January.

Will you travel for work if you get this job or are you quite happy to stay where you are and just pick up work that you can get closer to home?

Re: Christmas Loungeroom

Job is actually pretty iffy @Zoe7 was just surprised to get a reply out of the blue, would have to move there for however long it lasts so it would have to be really well paid.

all pie in the sky anyway

Hopefully no hassles with your pay. gotta love specials so long as that all you buy when there. Its not uncommon for shelves to be empty here if really good specials

Re: Christmas Loungeroom

I better head off and get to the shop and I can go to the chemist while I am out. Will catch you later @TAB Cat Happy
