My daily achievements have been a bit off for a couple of days. Had mum and dad over today. It was good, so before they arrived I did a clean up and wash up of dishes. We had lunch and they watched "Vigil" eps 2 and 3. II've seen it already but is much better watching it with others. Dad's ex navy, so he was all over it. It's a crime drama which is a genre we all enjoy.
I'm hoping tomorrow to get on the treadmill/clothes hanger. Words of encouragement welcomed.
Friday and Saturday were absolutely not a fun time for me but I got through it. That's all about that, as I achieved nothing. I hate bad days where I blame myself for not helping myself...
I've read through the previous posts and would like to say Well Done to all!! 🙂

Hello and good evening @MDT @Ugly_Trout @Meowmy @Scream58 @TAB @RedHorse @Shaz51 @tyme @Eve7 @Daisydreamer @Former-Member @hanami @pinklollipop15 @maddison @frog @Bunniekins and all forumites here tonight. Well done on your achievements everyone! I’m really proud of you for achieving what you have no matter how big or small they were.
@RedHorse well done in getting out of bed! That’s a massive achievement especially if you haven’t been feeling great mentally. I know what it’s like to want to stay in bed all day and just hide away and have been known to do this when feeling depressed or suicidal at times.
@Scream58 whilst I don’t particularly like snakes or reptiles in general, I do have a healthy respect for them. Speaking of snakes, I find that red lolly snakes are very yummy and a favourite of mine! Do you like them as well?
Over the past few days, my achievements were:
- I completed 3 Smiling Mind meditation sessions as well as doing a 17 minute session on my own listening to calming music where I had a dissociation episode but managed to get back into the meditation zone
- Worked on my adult knitted charity blanket and managed to get another section completed and sewn up onto the rest of the blanket with 1 more section to knit and sew up
- Worked on my crochet blanket for myself
- Had some Easter eggs
- Took meds
- Watched some of the Good Friday Appeal on TV
- Went and donated some money to the local CFA fire brigade who were collecting money for the Good Friday Appeal
- Had some hot cross buns
- Had a shower
- Spoke to my sister on the phone
- Checked out Facebook
- Checked out the scores for the AFL, NRL and Super Netball to see who won including Brisbane Lions, Melbourne Storm and Sunshine Coast Lightning and West Coast Fever
- Borrowed and downloaded some magazines on the Libby app from the library to read later on via my iPhone
Take care and stay safe!

Hi beautiful humans!
Thought I'd post my daily achievements as I did two things I used to love but haven't been motivated to do much lately.
1. I made lentil loaf for my dinner, that will last me a few days for leftovers. I haven't cooked much lately, just not motivated so this was something for me!
2. Did a sketch in my journal. I haven't picked up my journal for a few months after a rocky start to the year. So it was so relaxing to draw again.
I hope you all had an okay long weekend. I used to find public holidays so hard. Like there's these expectations that you have to do something special because you have an extra day or two off. I used to feel so much pressure! As I've gotten older, I'm happy to just plan a walk or a drive to somewhere nice.
Take care
hanami 💮

Thats the spirit @Scream58 re snakes. lol ... I hung out at a zoo for a while ... 4 years ... the boas and tortoises were better behaved than the parents of the children ..lol. Kidz is kids.
Someone of us have more graves than others to visit. I relate to that, tho last few months just making detour & driving past and saying hi to dad & my sister at their cemetery.
Tis the season of Loss and Renewal ...
Mostly working on making a life worth living.

I'm not big on visiting graves but I needed to yesterday. It was a nice feeling to take the first carnations from my garden to Mum. I was 13yo when she died.
I've always loved snakes and the owners of the reptile park were impressed at how comfortable I am with them. They even brought out one of their "snakes in training". Ones that are not used to the public yet. They said it was a good opportunity to see it interact with someone other than the handlers. It spent a bit of time around my feet but obviously didn't feel at all threatened and decided to sunbathe about a metre from me. I won the entry to the park back in January. I'm keen to go back and hug the Anaconda.
I have a grumpy knee from standing for so long yesterday but it was so worth it.
