Just wanted to jump in and let you all know, being that is is Schizophrenia Awareness Week, we will be hosting a Topic Tuesday event in the Carers Forum discussing the myths and misconceptions of schizophrenia. It is scheduled for this evening Tuesday 24 May between 7pm – 9pm AEST.

If anyone is interested, feel free to come along and join in the chatter! Hope to see you there 🙂

I read your post and i can say from my own point of view being that i have schizophrenia, sure doesnt every one want a normal life? i think it is a nice goal to have is to try and live a "normal" life and not let yourself be confind to a life of just being someone with schizophrenia.

Medication can help in a big way for that. Obviously i know things will not be like how they ever were before symptoms started but medication can help towards that. 

always good to be hopeful anyway 🙂
