Re: My Place

Hi  @Oaktree   .   Well aren't you a bundle of joy and energy.   I always look forward to opening a letter from you.  All that exercise and rabbit food.   One gust of wind and you'll blow away.   I learnt something

from you today.

I always thought Lite n easy. .   was something you  'snuck out'   with a lifted cheek,  in a crowded

picture theatre ,    and then  watch folks around you  give each other suspicious stares.

Better go.   Good on you my friend,  your momentum in perpetual motion. . .  .  forward progress.

Re: My Place

Hi @Oaktree nice with the light and easy...hope it is yum.

Re: My Place

Hi @EternalFlower

The Lite n’ Easy has lots of veggies which I am not used to eating. So far one day in I am enjoying it. Wasn’t hungry at all between meals yesterday. So that was good.

Re: My Place

Hi @Oaktree sounds like a nice change to eat different food than usual. Are you enjoying the vegetables? Hope it helps make life easier.

Ive been cooking today and been baking pears in wine...then i eat them nm next day in yoghurt yum.

Am starting a new show on disney plus called candy, i think it has many trigger warnings but i watch crime style shows occasionally and this has actresses i like, jessica biel and Melanie Lynskey.

I wouldn’t say that I have enjoyed the vegetables but I have tolerated them. I ate the meat in the same mouthful as the veggies and that made it easier to eat.

The pears you are making sound delicious. What a lovely treat.

I am just about to have my second Lite n’ Easy dinner now. I didn’t have my breakfast and lunch today because I was out on a bus trip for the day and we visited a cafe. I did make a good decision though and just had poached eggs on sourdough toast. I also had a small 250ml orange and passionfruit juice.

I am hungry now.

Re: My Place

Hi @Oaktree watching anything good? Hope ur doing well.

Re: My Place

Hi @EternalFlower

Last night I watched a lot of different shows.

Sister Wives

Seeking Brother Husband x 2

Repair Shop UK

Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders

I think that was all because after that I felt bad about hogging the television and gave hubby a turn.

Well I have had a couple of happy days. Yesterday I went on a day trip with my knit and natter group. We all piled onto a 12 seater bus and went and visited craft shops and a cafe. We also visited the local weir. It was cold and I hadn't taken a jumper as it seemed a bit sunnier here at home. Where we went it was windy and overcast. They did give us blankets to cuddle up with at lunch but we were seated outdoors. It was overall a pleasant day. I got to know a few of the knit and natter ladies better.

Today we went to the shops to grab hubby a few things and there was one of those knick knack pop ups in the mall. I ended up buying a little gnome for my greenhouse. (Check the picture of him out on the next post).

My lettuces are doing really well today and I have a few green spots in my thyme pot. (Check next post for pictures).

I am now sitting here watching about King Charles on the TV, leading into the Coronation. I am not a Charles or Camilla fan but a Coronation is worth watching for the pomp and ceremony.

Altogether today is a pleasant day.
