Empty nester

I’ve been thinking today that I do have a diagnosis of major depression and I have had this most of my life.  I have been really stable and happy for the past six months until last week when my daughter told me she was moving out. The way I have been feeling since then is the same as when I’m going through a depression episode, could it be that that was enough to cause a relapse?
