Dealing with intrusive thoughts - my struggle!

Re: Dealing with intrusive thoughts - my struggle!

Thank you all for your thoughts. I'm here tomorrow, and off to NZ on Saturday. I'll be unable to use the forum while I'm away.

Tough day. Even before I heard about my Nana, I had a panic attack walking to work because I couldn't stop coughing from the smoke.

Tomorrow I have to pack and write eulogy. 🌻💚

Re: Dealing with intrusive thoughts - my struggle!

Hi all. The trip home was hard. I'm really relieved I managed to read the long eulogy and be one of the pallbearers. I love my Nana so much. I'm grateful I could do that. My parents were too upset, so if I didn't go, our words would not have been shared. My Dad told me how proud he was if me.

The flight home was horrific, such bad turbulence. I did not manage well.

Now that I'm home and things are back to normal, I'm just so damn tired. Depression seems better but anxiety and OCD worse. I managed not to SH for a couple of weeks, but I've stumbled again. I'm just so tired of life right now. Need to dig deep and focus on the good things.

I see my psychologist and psychiatrist next week, so it will be interesting to see what they suggest.
