Love your Rainbow Lorikeet pictures (& Reflection picture) @Determined

I grew up with Rainbow Lorikeets (in NSW).

They are a feral pest here in WA - someone introduced them here, decades ago.

Laughing Kookaburras are a feral pest here in WA too @Determined @Shaz51

Only the Blue-Winged Kookaburra (in the far north), is native to WA.

Someone who was apparently homesick for NSW, intentionally introduced Laughing Kookaburras to WA in the late 1800's (to early 1900's).

The Rainbow Lorikeets were accidental - they escaped from someone's aviary.

Wow @Adge  hard to imagine either of those as pests.  One of those seemed like a good idea at the time moments  I suppose .
