@Smc, that sounds soo relaxing and with the animals in the garden...  Just beautiful.  As for the metaphor.. well yes, doesn't get any more metaphorical actually.

Making jam. not something I have ever even attempted but I do love homemade jams so sounds perfect on fresh hot scones.  😄

Hope all goes well for the BBQ, I know some parts of the country are having rain, not sure where you are or if that's applicable weatherwise.

Our weather for tonight's fine, but we're quite probably getting some rain tomorrow.
I rarely get around to making scones, but jam sammies are nice too. 🙂 In less exhausting times I have made homemade bread and even butter…those three together are really brilliant, especially if the bread is hot out of the oven. Occasionally I've even managed to eat the lot off a homemade plate. All things that are waiting in the wings until the centre stage crisis/climax passes.

Good morning All! I am literally struggling already from lack of sleep. I tried to sleep early but I had really disturbing dreams And I have started work super early. @Faith-and-Hope - frustration on the freeway today! People changing lanes over a straight white line! Did you not learn how to drive WA people? Ok ok might be cranky from lack of sleep haha. 

@Former-Member - there are a few reds I don't mind but am a white person, particularly sweet white. Got a sweet tooth. And don't mind about you posting lots. They are actually making me laugh. Definitely need it 

@Appleblossom - such a beautiful picture. Love art but wish was artistic. 

How are you @Shaz51 - is it a work day for you and Mr Shaz?

@Former-Member Breadmaker's a reasonable compromise. Mine is heavier than bought bread, but it's tastier too. I do still make up a batch sometimes for pizza bases.

Not all the wildlife is so idyllic. We get the wallabies because we're near a creek (and frogs and dragonflies) but we also get mozzies and assorted rodentia for the same reason. And the local possums sometimes have a domestic argument in the middle of the night, on or in the roof, with their gumboots on.

Hahaha @Anony18 ..... what really gets up my nose is when the whole three lanes of traffic are doing 80km/he on the freeway, in a 100km/he zone, in the middle of the day, for kms ...... !!! What ?? Blocking everyone to 80km/hr .... ??!! All three lanes ??

C'mon !

And they speed up from behind you when you indicate to change lanes ..... ought to be a traffic warning for visiting WA ..... :face_with_rolling_eyes:

Oh @Faith-and-Hope - I KNOW!!! I am always in left lane cause generally I am doing below 100km/h but if I am in the right lanes I am doing the speed limit, maybe even 1-2km/h more. Haha.
