Talking through trauma and PTSD

Day 1 of my new start

Day 1 of my new start

So yesterday I made the choice to put an end to the trauma controlling my life and I feel so much better like a giant weight has been lifted. There were opportunities today where I would normally choose the same action I normally do but I decided to change it up and do different things and it felt so good.

Re: Day 1 of my new start

@rav3n thanks it feels good gotta admit I didn't even feel anxious which I thought would happen idk how to explain it but stepping out of my comfort zone even being something small it just felt right if that makes sense

Re: Day 1 of my new start

@Matty19901 i know what you mean!

i sometimes get these little moments of adrenaline-like feelings when i tried something new for myself (it depended on the situation though). its those small changes that taught me a lot about my likes/dislikes aka who i want to be - hope its as transformative for you as it was for me 😊

Re: Day 1 of my new start

@rav3n yeah well when a bigger opportunity comes up to do something I wouldn't normally do I'm going to step up and do something different and see how it goes
