You are allowed time out for good behaviour. Past contributions recognised and noted.
A bit like.............  buy 2 and pay half price for second item....( o matter that you only need one)...

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

This was Like Getting the 2nd item for Half Price @Sophia1 @Appleblossom

I just had my 2nd Pfizer Covid Vaccination, this afternoon - At Community Clinic.

40Km round trip, up there & back.

Strange that these Community Clinics are Open on a Sunday - & Doing Vaccinations.

It was so much Faster on a Sunday, than during the week.

For the 1st Vaccination Dose - I waited 50 minutes, past my appointment time (before I got it).

Today, I only had to wait 25 minutes before Vaccination - Then they make you wait 15 minutes in Clinic, before you can leave.

We have Strong Howling Winds, & heavy rain - Not much Fun, driving up there in that....

I'm Hopefully all De-Bugged & Non-Contagious now 😁😁Adge

Wonderful @Adge

Horrace has a motorcycle also............

Looking as though it races along at great speed......

If Tiggr was conscious he could ride alongside or actually ahead of Hrrace on his highly polished, very shiny, super duper motorcycle....

Where is Tiggr's motorcycle?

I hope that the  naughty Turs have not discovered it...thought Sahun the sheep who appears to have changed the spelling of his name....... used to be Shaun....

Little baby goat has plonked himself Down and is falling asleep. So much playtime...so much fun...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

The invitation delivered  by Aloysius was opened by little bumblebee who was the only one who noticed delivery of the letter albeit by a huge dark slightly grumpy bat....

Having been within the vicinity of each arrival of Aloysius... Little bumblebee can easily blend into the wildflowers when in need.

The invitation was addressed to those who have been loitering in these parts of late.  The Professor of Arts who resided in the manor of the village was requesting the attendance of those who had been observed on more than one occasion to be making themselves at home on his land which consisted  of 30 acres......

The invitation stated that all concerned were to present themselves after the bell tolled next on the eve of the morn of the following day which was determined by the rising of the sun in the east....

The bell happens to be in the church tower adjacent to The Manor.....

Opposite the church was the school house where the formidable school mistress abided.....

Little bumblebee must let the fiends know as they would need to prepare suitable attire to attend The Manor......

hummmmmm........hummm........hmmmmm ...... followed by wolf whistle hoping that would grab someone's attention.
Racing around the corner came Shaun the sheep on his motorcycle. Closely followed  by Horace the hero on his ever so fast motorcycle.  ..........

Gum nut babies now two in number; .....others had long fallen off of the perch......yawning.... what is all that raucous??...........

Great st @Adge

You will be able to take over parliament. Parliamentarians all over the world all seem to be succombing to the deadly  virus.....

Awful travelling in wild weather at anytime so understand your reluctance for an inoculation..

All done now, rest and hopefully you will feel fit and well.

Stay dry and warm.
Sophia.

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Me in Parliament @Sophia1 Now that is a Novel Idea....

I don't like the thought of Brushing Shoulders with So Many Lawyers (many MPs are ex Lawyers).

I've had some very Nasty experiences with Lawyers in the past.

My Maiden Speech to Parliament: "Hey fellas, You're all Getting a Huge Pay $$ Cut"....

"That's because you think people can Actually Happily Survive on a Minimum Wage of $20 per hour" - "While you were all beting Paid Over $100 per Hour" (easily) etc, etc.

No I would Not Be Popular at all....

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Or @Adge

as your personal advisor

I can get by with a little help from my friends...

my meaning behind this honest people, not little helpers which I had no concept of in life or in the words at the time that the song came out.

A naive, over protected daughter..

back to...

as your personal advisor I would make a suggestion of a slightly different adaptation within parliament.

Keep the politicians who actually do work and help, as much as they are allowed to within their capacity, the people who voted them in.

Increase the pay of those worthy politicians on probation; under the requirement of completing questionnaires, surveys, waiting on phone lines for all government assistance whilst being reminded that they are valued

The rest can be made redundant; apply for jobkeeper? or disaster payment?

Bearing in mind that all of their assets would have to be used before being eligible for any payment.

This would of course take them well past retirement if counting their superannuation as well. Superannuation laws appear to be able to be changed at whim.

There would be no aged pension at this stage as jobkeeper and disaster payments will have eaten up all future social security payments.

As far as in home care they again would have to use their own funds first.

Any moneys left would be taken by any nursing home that is still managing to operate.

Back to there first being made redundant and applying for job keeper, payment, relief whatever. They must also ring the 13....phone number and please stay on line, your call is important to us. Just in case you have not heard that before.

After waiting for several hours, being invited to leave their name and phone number as they will receive a call back.

They must be aware that they will only receive one call and should they not answer that one call, they will not receive another.

Regardless of any emergency, life threatening situation, or purely having to use the bathroom. They did not answer that one call. Consequences.

Keeping in mind that if that call is missed...chances pretty high...they have to then go back to starting point..

How can they fund jobkeeper now there is a question. They can choose to use money that they do not have ....the more frequently used option......

or they could be brave and reduce the salaries of all CEO's in high earning corporations...

This, giving said CEOs an opportunity to assist the people of this country....oh wait a minute their clients...customers...people who pay for services, purchase their products...invest in shares...provide all funds for shareholders and board members.

Perhaps we should ask the advice of our friends ...

Have we any left...?

I think that everyone thinks that I have totally lost the plot altogether. They do not have not the time to read through scrolls and scrolls of twaddle.

With us, at last count are; Christopher Robin; Piglet; Gum nut babies (2); Little bumble bee; a close friend of Shaun the sheep and little goat; Horrace a very clever bat who also knows Shaun the sheep; a black beetle as well as an unconscious tiggr.

Other members still in the troupe are on annual leave.

This is what can happen when self isolating for too long. Starved of conversation with different people.

Travelling somewhere different.

I enjoyed writing such a farce, however there is absolutely no need for anyone to read it....

Cheers all

Sophia

possibly used to be Tiggr
