Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

@Appleblossom

Why am I not surprised...

You cottoned on to my underlying meaning....feelings...

You followed on from finding my footsteps..

or should I say tricycle tire marks....

Thank you

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

An interesting twist...

@Oaktree

Vanessa looks very confident and ready to face her challenge..

It was good that the professor was expecting you...along with someone else it seems...he did say we didn't he..

I wonder who else knew as he did not have conversations with the little girl without a name...

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

@Flax

How very fascinating to read the latest virtual news...

Three different stories waiting for me....

Could not be any better....

How this thread works best...

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Sending a postcard back @Flax

well spotted....

The lack of activity I believe is because of my latest hurried dash from the forums...leaving confusing messages..

I am relieved and pleased that stories are continuing..

this thread is to be shared..

The fact that none of them relate to each other to me makes it more thrilling..

It is my turn to be rather unwell and in a darkish place...so writing sparingly..

yes this is sparingly..

No novels for now....

New friends are welcome in the story...might not remember their names..

Do remember Sooty.. and Sooty is here to stay we all hope..Sooty can bring back any friend whom he wishes to...reminds me of myself when I was young...bringing home stray friends...

don't wait in line...

jump in..

I can see across the grassed land out to the woodlands...then when I climb back down the very winding staircase; sneak through a tunnel; I find another very winding staircase...

I learn that this is the way to access each turret...

I am in seventh heaven..."

Excellent! - I love Secret Tunnels & Hidden Entrances (in Stories).

This Reminds me of The Famous Five by Enid Blighton....

They were always finding Secret Tunnels & Hidden Entrances....

write when you have something to add no matter whether it fits in with the current story or not..

if you struggle..

write a sentence..

let's go back to school...oh no how boring...let's not do that...

let's make up our own rules...which we have done already ...haven't we..

write :

hello sooty, Little Bee, gumnut baby, horrace, the cook,Vanessa, the professor....don't forget me...little girl without a name..

at the beginning..

I am off now...starting to write gibberish.

please leave something for me to find when I return..

from

The little girl without a name who is fascinated with a picture of a selkie fowld ....found in a very large dusty book...carried down to the antique desk with the help of her close friend Horrace...the book then left on the desk within the library...

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

@Flax bring all of your friends from wherever it is the dwarves who drink ale

the dryads...love that part...

all the rest...

Sounds like your in that dark place where we live in cave and just try to get by hour by hour. And it is so painful.

When I'm in that dark cave, I can't do much...so don't worry about coming up with stuff for the thread. Have you considered being important to this thread might be stressful? I have - I get stressed about Sooty stories - meaning having to 'perform', and create a Sooty adventure. Maybe your a little bit the same. Even writing on an anonymous forum pushes my stress levels up.

I think I actually get where your coming from with 'virtual post' idea. You love random experiences from friends and what they are up to. Sort of takes your mind away from a painful reality. And getting forum notifications gives you something to look forward too.

Sooty has a litle plan if his friends need cheering up...

Will leave you with an ancient maxim, I think its Persian..."This too shall pass"

I think what I'm trying say is don't fret or stress about this virtual post thread. It will just meander along in its own way: sometimes active and sometimes not.

Wow - you got 5 flowers...lol.

That Dark Cave (place) with Little Light - Is a place that I'm very familiar with.

I've spent much of my time in there (unwillingly).

Made worse by living on my own for so long (11 years) - When social connections are my greatest source of meaning & fulfilment in life.

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

@Adge Love the Famous Five reference.

@Sophia1  This is and will always be a beautiful thread idea.

@Flax Your stories are wonderful and would take time and/or emotional energy.  I like your wisdom about partaking in this thread as well.

@Oaktree Can I morph into a spider on the wall during your lessons/sessions?

Hope nobody is scared of spiders?
