Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

thhe dreaded wandering womb......................have not heard of that one....................

might cause some controversy?????????????????

hysteria....oh yes I am familiar with that leaning too far over and almost losing balance into hysteria or another world...one where anything can happen............

@Oaktree

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

ah ha so he  did ....

I need to listen to my own advice...

well we are waiting for sooty to land with his surf board or whatever mischievous escapade he is up to...

the sillier the better...

where will sooty land within the 100 acre woodland.....

how will he be transported? by his friends ariadne or brunhildr.....?

waiting....waiting....waiting...

where are you  @Adge  knee deep in census forms??????

@Appleblossom hope that you are okay......perhaps busy in the real world....

we are escaping that for the time being...

actually I need to get out into the garden...

not the secret garden....

my real garden...

will arrive by sea later....dripping wet.....

ta ta for now......Sophia 1

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

@Sophia1

I am currently reading edition 5 of essentials of abnormal psychology. The wandering womb was found in there along with some other terrifying history of care of the mentally ill. Made me grateful for being mentally ill now and not in the past - recent or otherwise. I only have this textbook for one week as it is a reference book from my library but it is very interesting. I actually wanted to get a book on schema therapy but the library didn't have anything on that. So far I have only read one and a half chapters. Will have to focus my reading to the parts that pertain to my own diagnoses as the book has to be back by Thursday. Trying to catch up to my psychologist in knowledge (not that that's even possible)

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Hello @Sophia1 I'm knee-deep in angst & uncertainty - over unknown expectations & procedures, all happening in the next few days.

Cannot plan around anything, when given no details to work with.

Horace has a Paw Paw tree (small), in a Pot - Was given it this morning.

So maybe some Paw Paw fruits - if we can fend the Snails off.

Yes they can munch an entire Paw Paw plant, when it's small...

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Aaaah Dear @Sophia1  I am alright. Had stuff going on and not up for light hearted chat, but still really love the energy and intention of this thread.

@Oaktree Big love and respect Bella.  I just dont always have the right energy to contribute, so can be a bit passive at times, but dont mean to be a hitch hiker ....all the time.

Did you know that the Gumnut baby was utterly amazed by the wandering womb gallivanting, dancing and flirting through the forest floor that she fell off her perch from up high in the snowgum?  The WWW Worrying Wandering Womb was glad to fell FULL she invited the nutty bub to stay permamently and they have become a duo.

Gumnut Bub has decided its better than a motor bike ... more organic .... hah ....mind you bikes are fine ... but this is not so ... put put put ... but .... more put your right foot in ... and do the hokey pokey .... kinda fun, minus Hysteria!

Dear @Adge

You can use a couple of methods to keep your paw paw safe. Firstly crush up egg shells and place around base of tree. Secondly dig some jar lids into the earth and fill with beer. Then check on them every day and remove any snails you find.

Lol @Appleblossom

The wandering womb seems a perfect place to put any kind of baby. I never imagined it as a form of transport similar to a motorbike but why not I wonder? Obviously babies are transported around in wombs all the time wandering or otherwise. It amazes me where different imaginations will go. Certainly in very different directions. Love to you Apple (Gumnut Baby) - enjoy your wandering womb!!!

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Dear @Adge

I am so sorry to hear that you are still suffering.

You have had a bad run for some time now.

Are you able to put these pressing thoughts out of your mind for today and tomorrow being the weekend?

They will still be there on Monday; I am assuming that you are not referring to anything happening on the weekend.

How lovely to receive a gift of a small paw paw tree.

Would this donor be aware that you are a qualified horticulturalist?

Your neighbour friend?

Need not answer if you wish to keep to yourself...I do sound a bit nosey don't I...

Interesting advice not so much about the crushed eggshells around a plant; moreso the jar lids filled with beer...

Did you find this out by accident @Oaktree  whilst indulging in too many drinks of beer from a jam jar perhaps?

Did you attempt to fill the lid instead of the jar as your eyesight was slightly skewwif...cannot be bothered looking up proper spelling.

On this thread spelling mistakes are welcome as makes even more interesting reading.

I could be writing in welsh or celtic or norse wasn't it Sooty?

@Flax ?

As for drunken snails....hmmmmm ....no don't want to think any more on that ....started to think about the trail they already leave when sober....best leave that one alone...

I do hope that you are still receiving some pleasure from this thread...

I do realise that when someone is very flat...not even a silly...nonsensical thread can lift that....

I respect that you are feeling that way and it is very hard...

Thinking of you and sending you my wishes for the mood to lift as soon as able..

love

Sophia 💚green heart for your paw paw and a gift from nature which is so very giving.....

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

oh good grief @Appleblossom @Oaktree @Flax

not another gum nut baby falling off of it's perch...

How many have we already lost...

Here is me thinking that it might have been wind or boredom even...

little did I know that it was our very own @Oaktree gallivanting through the 100 acre woodland led by a wandering womb...in total hysteria.....

The rubbish that people used to have to live with....back in those days.....

Mind you our children and grandchildren are thinking that about us now probably...

Let me get this straight ....I had to reread your response @Appleblossom  actually I need to cut and paste....just to show off my computer skills to @HenryX who must think that I am a complete dunce with my zero knowledge of computers having worked with them my whole career....

as quoted by appleblossom below:

I wonder what they would have called us back then if they read along with this thread laugh....

oh I am in stitches...I can hardly type...

I am very very very VVV interested to read how the newly formed duo  behaves and interracts....also more than likely best not to sit on a perch given the history of all the rest and they had not been informed of the WWW  ....

Now more importantly.....getting back to the hokey pokey...have you all been practising....

yes yes I know you were supposed to be practising singing, playing drums, cymbals, triangle? oboe that was Tiggr who incidently did not write about his practising or lack of.....was anyone playing the flute?...pan flute??>>

@Flax  You were playing the cello.....

back to the hokey pokey....

we might make this our emblem...can we have a dance as an emblem...

alright....our celtic version then....if someone wants to translate into celtic...

or norse...Sooty?  Oh Latin....Ariadne???...

Sooty is bilingual...perhaps he speaks celtic....or welsh....or irish.... as well as norse....

ah @HenryX

Henry we need you to choose something else than a black beetle.....

a professor or journalist or research scientist? Need an image please...

@appleblossom good luck with your image of gumnut baby with WWW.....

@Oaktree  Who are you now???? Meggle, Henry, Zoe.....

@Adge  you can still be Horrace if you prefer or you could be a specialised horticultluralist living within the 100 acre woodland in a secret place, either in the secret garden or in another secret garden or a beach hut near the coastline...

Oh no that is @Oaktree  whoever Meggle is as Meggle was the one who advised us that we could access the coastline via the 100 acre woodland....We have not yet received a map though....might take some time to find given the 100 acre span....for me ...I have no sense of direction in real life.....ditto in virtual life...

Sophia 1 is going to be a Selkie.......I thought that I had actually written about this somewhere but then could not find...what a surprise....note to Henry....I failed that part again...

Are you all asleep now...

I could take up night meditation classes and send people off to sleep..

Selkies (also spelled silkies, sylkies, selchies) or Selkie folk (Scots: selkie fowk) meaning " Seal Folk " are mythological beings capable of therianthropy, changing from seal to human form by shedding their skin.Selkies (also spelled silkies, sylkies, selchies) or Selkie folk (Scots: selkie fowk) meaning " Seal Folk " are mythological beings capable of therianthropy, changing from seal to human form by shedding their skin.
