Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Hi guys,

Whilst I am glad that we have so many people who are happy here I am saddened that we have lost our dear Kanga! @NatureLover

Personally I would be equally sad if I couldn't be Eeyore anymore as I feel like Eeyore epitomises me. I am enjoying our silly adventures in the 100 acre wood and don't agree at all that they have been boring. Sure from a male perspective I can see that a Roman Army adventure may be more exciting but because the characters in the 100 acre wood are children or children like and are using their imaginations then surely a tale about anything at all is possible. Also while I am here I think that we need to bear in mind that everyone here has mental illness issues and therefore may not feel up to contributing each day or even all that regularly but that doesn't mean that they have lost interest or are not reading along. I think we need to not put too much pressure on this or the people involved. This is for fun. If I was to find myself really unwell or hospitalised I myself may go missing in action for several weeks. I would hate to think that you would replace me. I think we keep writing the stories and involving all the characters and let people surface as they wish to. Including our dear Owl and Kanga who both think that they have bowed out... @Anastasia @NatureLover - I dont think we should let them run away as we were having so much fun playing with them and it wouldn't be the same without them /cry. I love this thread @Sophia1 please don't take it away

Dear Friends

Tigger is going to try and keep this very brief, which is extremely hard for Tigger.

As most of you who have responded lately have said Winnie the Pooh Bear and friends is a child story.,

Great choice for characters existing and those we choose to add on;expanding.

Imagination is a part of our brain  which can lead us in so many directions;  taking us to places we have never been before.

We have been having adventures.

We will continue to have new adventures.

Those people who have chosen to step back have every right to do so whether we want them here or not.

Yes we are all on the sane forum website and have landed here due to struggles of some nature. There are times where we cannot stretch ourselves to join in. Our external lives and everchanging circumstances continue regardless. This we all do our best to deal with.

None of the characters will be replaced..............the door to the world of Winnie the Pooh bear will always remain open for each person who became that character and contributed to the story.

No judgement, no pressure here at all.

Some people might have the capacity only to support as they read along. This is great also. They are here within the  capacity that they can be whilst looking after their own health.

I have tried to stress this in past posts and I do realise that it is extremely hard to keep up with. So rather than me ramble on any more.

Tigger will  write to remaining, contributing characters. This can change at any time; some leaving; some returning; new people joining.

A mirror of life and friendship everchanging.

@Sophia1

Yes people have a right to go if they so choose but I want them to know that they are still wanted here.

Dear Friends

Tigger wants to say hello to all of his friends who are managing to keep up with the latest adventures.

EEyoore had replied with a suggestion for a license plate Tiggr or Bouncy. Horrace had also replied with his suggestion of Tiger Express.

Tigger likes the suggestions and has now registered his super duper shiny ever so fast motorbike with license plate

Bouncy Tiggr Express

He is very excited to ride his bike which now has a name. He feels so excited.

He rides his bike along the narrow road at the top of the cliffs. The wind blowing through his fur as he feels such a sense of freedom.

He stops and turns his engine off just as he realises that he is just a little too close to the edge of the cliff.

Phew thinks Tigger, that was close.

He gingerly steps closer to the  edge; quite grounded as he is a cat with four legs and is used to climbing large cliffs; surveying all beyond.

He looks down and recognises his friend Sooty the sleek black cat with green eyes carrying a surfboard.

Then he spots Sooty's close friend the sparkling winged, long silver-haired fairy hovering above; still wearing her visace sequinned gown, high heeled red prada boots, carrying a pink gucci handbag. She too was dripping wet and not looking too happy.

Winnie or Christopher Robin were nowhere to be seen. Eeyore was on the sand shaking his whole body in an attempt to dry himself. Little bee, Roo and Gumnut Baby had originally been on Eeyore's shoulder but found themselves shaken off and also wet. Horrace was clinging desperately to a skate board. Surely someone had not tried  to use a skate board in the sea.

The black beetle was off to the side of the others, observing all that was going on  with antennae twitching and wings fluttering ready to escape.

Tigger called out to them all

up here, I am up here, come quickly the tide is coming in. Help each other. I have a rope in my saddle bag on my super duper very fast motorbike license plate Bouncy Tiggr Express (yes alright).

I am lowering it and anchoring this end to my bike.

I could really do with some help up here.

At that moment something large and  black flew over him casting a large shadow. Tigger crouched down, trembling.

What now he thought.

Oh, phew, It was Aloysius.

Thank  good ness it is you Aloysius, can you help with the rope and my super  duper motorbike please.

Yes said Aloysius in his very deep strong voice. I have brought along our other friends who are not feeling like talking at the moment but are still wanting to help.

Tigger turned around to see Owl, Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin.

They all grabbed hold of the rope, Christopher Robin climbed onto the bike (smiling to herself, thinking hmm  I would like to take this  for a drive).

They all pulled and pulled with all their might.

One by one their bedraggled, dripping friends made it to the top of the cliff.

Christopher Robin had brought food along with her in a picnic hamper...made by her mum of course...who was actually a very lovely lady not grumpy at all .Tigger felt embarrassed for confusing her with someone else.

They all dived into the food and fresh homemade lemonade.

The musty smell of wet fur pervaded the group.

One by one they shook themselves and as they moved away cried out Bye friends, Bye Tigger thank you for saving us.

We will meet you at the 100 acre wood  tomorrow.

Thank you yelled Tigger, feeling exhausted.

Meanwhile the sparkling winged, silver long-haired fairy wearing very high red Prada boots, carrying a matching pink sequinned gucci handbag was now adorned with a long flowing pure silk off the shoulder cape of some sort.

She opened and flutter her wings as she flew off shouting out to  everyone.....................................?????

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Deara @Oaktree

I totally agree with you.

I have tried to express that by letting them know the door is open for them to join in whenever they want to. At the same time not wanting them to feel pressured or guilty if they can't.

There is more chance of them coming back if they are not pressured. They probably have too much going on in their lives at the moment.

I, myself have not had a good few days with my family member. Hence am only writing now.

Everything is fine. We can still write them into the story and they can tag along if they want or join in.

I don't want them to leave either.

They will come if they can.

I hope that reassures you.

love Tigger Sophia

@Adge wrote:

On a particular day, Pooh Bear was certain that Piglet had stolen his honey.

All his honey jars were empty.

What a calamity...

Then it was carefully explained to Pooh that he had in fact eaten all of the honey himself- during one of his midnight Snack Attacks....

To be continued.....

Dear @Oaktree @Adge @Emelia8 @Shaz51 @HenryX  and all others reading

Tigger forgot to include this new contribution in his latest letter.

It is quite a task trying to keep up with who has written what, when and where.

Hopefully providing a clue that it is not as easy as it might look creating an ongoing letter in story form.

Tigger suddenly remembered after everyone had left him at the top of the cliff, (with his super duper shiny very very fast motorbike, license plate Bouncy Tiggr Express.)

that Winnie the Pooh the Pooh had been naughty and eaten all of his honey.........

He would have to ask his friends very nicely to help him gather more honey  so that he had enough stock should the weather change. Strong winds and heavy rain would prevent him getting out to collect more. Winnie was feeling guilty but worried at the same time because he loved his honey so very very very much....

Tigger now, standing on the top of the cliff,  had some difficulty getting Christopher Robin to climb off of his motorbike. She found it awkward and Tigger was not helping at all. He was in fact in the way. The bike fell over as so did Christopher Robin.

Oh dear said Christopher Robin.

Tigger's eyes started to water..................

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Hey gang.

Just catching up on past threads. Sort of confused...are we still in pooh's world or sort of expanding it to include whatever someone would like to be? I quite like being Sooty, its fun.

I do like the secret garden, lots of room to include other characters from just about anywhere or anytime.

I did promise Sooty would join the Roman Legion. Its just a little vignette, and thankfully Sooty gets back to the garden in one piece 😅

Hope everyone is travelling well. Freezing down here. 🌻🌻🌻
