Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

@Sophia1

See above message for you from @Ripples 🌹

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Lovely to see you @Anastasia

I had noticed your silence and was about to hear over to living with ourselves.

If you feel like a chat send me a tag.

If you want to just find calmness in yourself (this feeling I know only too well)

I will support you in that way also and leave you to feel that calm.

My voice was missing so I spent time hiding under the blanket.

I hope that you have a special way of being kind to yourself when you cannot find your voice along with your inner child.

Both are still there supporting you ready when you are.

take care lovely owl 💚

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Hello, The piece you have written to your younger self is lovely. It is all about forgiveness, tolerance and survival. Just after my dad's death during the 2019 - 2020 bushfires I learned that my mum is terminally ill. The heart break is tough but it has brought me closer to my mum than ever. It is not until you suffer loss and sadness that you really feel how important those people and situations are to you. I wish you some time to play, to do fun stuff and accept your current self. You are perfect as you are.

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

That is a lovely message @Ripples  for @Shaz51  who has sadly lost her and husband's home.

I understand the feeling of having your dad with you.

I feel for you for your recent loss @Ripples

I lost my dad 22 years ago and he has been with me on several occasions.

I still feel the tears when I think of him. I tell my self now, even as I write this. that these are my tears of love for him that will always be with me, be for him wherever I go.

I hope that we all on here, for our own individual reasons, can find moments of rest and learn to be at peace with ourselves.

I am on this journey now, still.

I also recognise that I am extremely sensitive so feel things very deeply. I am learning to be kinder to myself.

Please think about doing this for yourselves also.

❤🧡💛💚💙💜

@Snowie

This is the virtual letter writing thread I was telling you about. Feel free to have a look around. It's a mix of fictional whimsy and real life letters to people we want to address something with, sometimes ourselves. We would love another character in our little band of merry friends 🙂

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Dear Friends,

Kanga is so happy that Bee managed to fly to Christopher Robin's hand! She prepares more sugar water for Bee's wings. She thanks Eeyore for carrying Piglet to the hive. She also looks in her cupboards and finds a thick fleecy blanket for Tigger to hide under. She is happy that wise Owl is following along quietly, feeling no pressure (hopefully) to join in the conversation till she wants to. She knows Owls tend to stay quiet up in their trees till they are ready to speak.

She checks her pouch, where Roo, Bee and Gumnut Baby are snoozing comfortably in the warmth. This cheers her up, as she is feeling sad that there is no sun today. So much to do, and no motivation to do it. But she likes looking out for her friends.

From Kanga.

Dear Friend,

Looks like Pooh is a bit late for our band.

Been busy catching the bees,

all weekend.

Trying to slim down again,

but no no, I can't.

@Sophia1

Hello dear Tigger friend,

glad to have you back in the band.

Would definitely love a picnic every now and then.

Can we meet in the cave up the hill,

round the bend?

@Emelia8 .

Hello dear shy friend,

hiding behind a tree,

living deep in a bushland.

Could you be dear Piglet,

our missing shy friend?

Yours Pooh Bear,

Always

Smiley Happy

Thanks @Sophia1 @Lilaca @Oaktree

and hi to

@NatureLover @Shaz51 @Anastasia

Maybe I am indeed piglet ... your shy missing friend ... hiding behind the tree.

Still in hiding.  Too scared to come out and play with her friends.

Feeling lost and alone ... and needing to be heard.

But afraid of rejection and fearful of banishment.
